The reissue just came out on No Plan records.
I Love ❤ The B-52s😊But I Hate REM🐙😱👺🐌💩👎
I honestly thought it was a Japanese band.
Extra musicalement et paroles : un groupe en avance sur notre époque : que je dédie à C....C....
Best new wave act from the golden era.
I thought you died years ago dude. Unless you’re not Nathan Moses. But you have bitter pills videos so I’m assuming you’re at least in Knoxville. Weird day
I’ve been looking for this song for over 20 years because I heard it on the Hour of Slack and they didn’t say the name of the song. Also, I knew a Nathan Moses in Knoxville. Weird day. Hello from Reverend Jack, homeless in San Diego
hands down....their best song!!!
Great record.
Sounds like they sampled rocklobster from this
Long was the year Will you stay now, you're here Be like the sun, never gone Sleep long and fast Let the past be the past You're like the snow Never know Long was the path Will you stay now, you're back Be like the sun, never gone
We seriously need more bands like the b-52’s now in 2024 !!
Tight guitar play. Love these guy..
great song that practically no one will ever hear, drums are insane! organ also shreds paired with that classic stoned 60s production
Ricky and Keith were such a great team musically
Can you name, name, name Name 'em today?
A great song.

Nice!
So great
Based
As silver tears, they weave and lace Sad patterns upon her face She waits for you So low below a laser sun Through velvet fields she runs Reaching for you And so you bleed now Your hand holds the knife That is tearing your life apart Why don't you leave now? The city's too heavy And your dreams they melt in the sun On mellow blue, birds curve and glide Through shadows of grief she slides She waits for you There on a hill before the dawn In silence a promise torn She turns from you And so you bleed now Your hand holds the knife That is tearing your life apart Why don't you leave now? The city's too heavy And your dreams, they melt in the sun As silver tears, they weave and lace She waits for you So low below a laser sun Reaching for you On mellow blue birds curve and glide She waits for you There on a hill before the dawn She turns from you
Thank you, Moses!❤
1st wave punk with a bit of OG rap.
Damon is going crazy
Great song, Great group!!!!!
Great voice and song !!
This a.v. is hot❤❤❤❤
Killer track
Classic!🔥🔥🔥💜
Great old Atlanta, GA hardcore band. Kinda a low-key supergroup, too. Greg was in Ism back in NYC and Rik was in State back in Ann Arbor. I know Greg recorded with Ism a bit but I can't remember if Rik is on State's iconic No Illusions 45 or not. Greg also played in The Nightporters, The Tombstones and Loaded before he sadly passed away too soon. I believe Rob & Jim went onto form the excellent but all to short-lived Threshold Of Pain as well shortly after DDT split up.
Cosmic Thing propelled them into popularity, but I was listening to them when people thought I was a weirdo for it and wearing two different color custom made vans (shoes) on different feet. And wearing Vuarnet wraparound sunglasses with leather side covers with neck string. 1979, skateboarding and riding BMX bikes in empty swimming pools, making snowboards and sneaking in the backside of a ski resort (Illegal at the time) and getting in 2-3 runs in cause you had to hike to the top.. Made scurfboards out of old surfboards, shorten them and glassed a skag in it ,and then being towed by a truck down a ditch with a one handle ski rope. Also made BMX Cruiser bikes before you could buy them from bike shop..then started racing Dirtbikes... I wasn't a weirdo, I was jus ahead of my time...like the B 52'S... We both were RADICAL!! The Fresno Rads!.. My teenage gang...
Jan Berry was a "Genius" as well! Not just Brian Wilson. Jan & Jill wrote some beautiful music! Jan Berry was so clever with his studio talent & WRITING, HE HAD A VERY UNIQUE CHARISMA AND HE WAS A "CHEICK MAGNET" I just wish Jan & Jill Gibson would have stayed together and marry each other!
This earlier version differs from the later one; the chords are different. For example, this one starts on a C#5, and the album version starts on an A5.
ya, the album version is in a different key. I like both but probably prefer this one.
Sounds slightly sped up.
Came back here because there's nothing just worth listening to in 2024
How dare you insult TAYLOR SWIFT, the Greatest musician of all times! Her fans are even saying that she's greater than Michael Jackson!...
God damned! What a powerful great, exelent and unique Soul song!!! This number was made for the eternity, shit i like it. No no i love that: very cool👍👍👍
Post Punk!!
Who’s your favourite 52 girl?
Kate & Cindy of course
"...I don't care 'cause I'm high." Would've been banned back in the day
