I lived in Nompton for 15yrs and heard of a few haunted places.

The old church on porter that used to be Bill's Used furniture is haunted as well.

I was born and raised in Norman. I moved to OKC in 1972 and for the life of me I can't remember this place. Norman was a great place to grow up because it was a college town. I love college towns because of all the young people always around. But summers were always quiet. Norman has grown and changed so much I hardly recognize it when I go back.

I don't live in Oklahoma, but this place seems kinda creepy.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of Jewel. There are no finer dogs that a German Shepherd!!! I have had 2 1/2 Shepherds . (One was half Lab.!) They are intelligent- brilliant, actually---loyal, gentle, obedient. Their only "fault"--if you can call it that---is that they do not live long enough. I was blessed by your memories of Jewel- and it made me remember my own sweet boys that I will love-and miss-till the end of my days!! I send you warm hugs!!!

Honobia was fun this year ( 2016 ) . Lots of good stories around the camp fire . It is worth the visit just to see the area where Honobia is. Gorgeous.

@ Dave Turner, so very sorry to hear of Arnham and your loss. I have been so very heart broken these days knowing my loyal friend will not be with us one day. They are such wonderful beings and I wish so much that us humans could be like them. what a wonderful world and life we would live in.

I lost my 10 year old long haired GSD 'Arnham' 2 days ago and I am grieving terribly, he was the most loyal, loving dog and he will never be forgotten. He was not just a pet, he was my best friend, the most devoted breed in the world.

I have a wonderful German Shepherd named Luthor. He is dying from cancer and won't be with me much longer. I will miss him so very much when his day comes soon. So very sorry to see and hear your loss
