I live in a residential neighborhood similar to the one in the video. I've got a 67' Charger that rattles windows. Also have a 12 valve Cummins that's fairly loud as well. I tend to take it really easy in the residential areas. Driving around the neighborhood like the guy in the video just makes him dangerous and inconsiderate. Cool car. The driver... Not so much.
thtas what my roadrunner sounded like. nothing beat my roadrunner, it was the fastest car in acworth ga, in 1987, then some drunk ass hole side swiped me. the car was totaled, sold it for parts.
I have one of these cars with a 440. Everytime I tear down the engine, I can't understand why they run like they do. They don't look that good inside. Compared to the 460 Ford...they just don't compare with the engineering that the Ford has. But it runs good.
My brother had a black 69 and this video reminded me of it. Beat on that thing like a rented mule and it took it in stride, car was already 30 years old and it never missed a beat. They were BUILT for that. Thanks for the memories
Between 1965-1967, the base engine in the Satellite was the 273 V8. When the body style changed (to the style shown here) in 1968, the standard engine became the 318 V8.
i think there was 4 models the belvedere which is the original name i believe, satellite, roadrunner, gtx the gtx was a satellite base with all the high performance, and the roadrunner was the stripped down belvedere with the high performance..i think dont kill me if im off...my a12 clone is a belvedere that had a small block in it before the make over
The three cars were all based on Chrysler's B-body platform, and were basically the same. The Satellite was the low-end businessman/family car, the RR was the bare-bones muscle car, and the GTX was the high-end muscle with more options.
There's no such thing as a stupid question if you are honestly seeking facts. That's my opinion anyway. I know,I know, opinions are like belly buttons- everybody has one!
Can anybody tell me what the difference between a roadrunner, a gtx, and a satallite is? I never really understood. Sorry if this is a stupid question.
Свинцовые сани не для скорости созданы, это не про них. Свинцовые сани про плавное движение

uh no. They didn't put small-blocks in '69 Road Runners, so that lets out the 318 and 340, and the 400 didn't come out until 1972.
