Yes it will. Parts needed are different for the factory 8” screen vs the smaller factory screen but this radio will fit in either trim level truck.

It has illumination control that has 2 positions controlled when your parking lights are on/off. Not variable dimmer. It also has selectable brightness settings in a menu. It is a fairly bright unit due to its size and could certainly use a bit more dimming capability. A tinted screen protector can help with that as well.

The Kenwood unit couldn’t be more different than the inexpensive android pieces. This is a solid piece of precision electronics. The Kenwood is well more expensive than the units that you’ve had experience with. Probably five or six times the price, but they work and continue to work and are much better quality. You will not have a vibration related issue with this unit.

True sub bass is always best produced by a subwoofer, but they perform as good or better than any other tower speakers we have tested. These have a bit of an advantage because they are 10” and have a bit larger enclosure where as most others are 8”.

Did you have someone install a remote start on your Telluride? What we are demonstrating is a system that we added to the car and are able to control with the factory remote control, so you'd need to have a quailfied shop, like us, install a remote start system first and then you'd be able to activate it from your remote control. If you already have a factory installed remote start, then you'd need to check with your dealer if it isn't functioning. Hope that helps. :)

It should go to which ever source it was left on when powered off the last time. I would start by checking for power on your memory wire (yellow) in the radio’s harness. If you had it professionally installed, please contact the shop and have them inspect it.

I can’t really give you a specific answer on that. It is just whatever the range happens to be from the factory remote. Our system doesn’t extend the OEM remote’s range. You can test your factory remote’s range by walking away from your vehicle and pressing lock or unlock every 10 feet or so until it stops working. That will give you an idea of its range.

It’s a Power Retrax. They also come in a manual version.

I really don't think so. You can measure the space in between your vents to get an idea. The unit measures 10" wide by 7" tall.

Yes, it has separate volume settings for navigation prompts. Simply adjust the volume when the navigation is talking and it will set it at that volume and then go back to your regular source volume when the navigation prompts are finished.

Yes sir. It’s just a standard double din kit for that truck. The radio has a double din chassis and the screen mounts to the front after the dash is reassembled. If you don’t already have the radio, we can hook you up with everything you need and ship it to you.

Yes, All of those can be added. They can be integrated into the turn signal triggers to activate when turning.

Yes, it will. The chassis of this radio is a standard sized double din so it will fit any vehicle that will accept a double din.

That’s a great question. We prefer installations that follow along with oem placement, and save as much functionality as possible. Behind the rear seat on these trucks is where the oem amplifiers, inverters, and other modules are placed. This also results in a much cleaner installation without wiring running up on top of the enclosure where it can be seen, and retains that space for personal storage for the client since it’s easily accessible unlike behind the seat which can’t be accessed without removing the back of the seat.

If you’re referring to the tire pressure monitoring system, the Maestro, paired with a compatible radio like this one, will display that information for your 2012 Tundra.

@@jacksoncaraudio5890 thank you The technician that set up my stereo skip this step I talked to I datalink this morning they told me to take it back and they will walk the technician through something that has to do with the wire they have to check it or re-harness it thank you Hopefully my 2012 SR5 will be working with all the functions of the maestro with the Kenwood compatible receiver I’m also having troubles with the gauge specifically the engine oil temperature gauge I can’t get that to come out either or the widget for the weather

They’re rated for 250 watts RMS per speaker so I’d look for an amplifier that will produce 250 watts to each speaker at 4 ohms.

Is yours a different dash that the one in this video? (It’s a 2009) We have to make small modifications and/or adjustments to most installations in order to get the best fit so it may be that your installer just didn’t do everything possible to get it back further.

@de_41 This unit doesn't actually have the SD slot there. What you are seeing is just where the SD slot would be on other receivers that have Garmin Nav built in. Those units "can" play from the SD slot, but you'd be loosing the built in navigation when you take the existing card out of the slot.

You are totally good to get them wet, wash them with a water hose, etc. They are IPX67 rated.

This unit includes wireless Apple CarPlay. Nothing else needed for that. If you’re wanting to “mirror” your iPhone screen to the radio without the ability to control it from the screen, you could use an HDMI adapter and you’d be able to mirror when the vehicle is parked.

You’ll need a lightning to HDMI adapter and then plug into the back of the radio where you’ll find a standard hdmi port.

Nope! Not to worry. 😁 The hinge on this unit is steel. I have this unit in my personal truck and it is super sturdy. Doesn’t even shake when I hit these Tennessee potholes. 😃 It’s my favorite radio I’ve had in 30 years.

Yes there is. Press the volume knob and it will show up in the options on the top left. There’s also a “screen off” option that I like to use at night.

@justiceknight6877 will not fit in the JL. It has a double din chassis which is too big for the subdash of the JL. However, We do have a 10” media center we us in the JL that has very similar features but has a remote mounted chassis. We have a vehicle specific dash bezel that makes it look factory too!
