How can anyone leave a dog like that? It just kills me. My wife and me have a wonderful and loving boy that was left in a home also.Took him 6 months to really trust us. Now it's like that he has been with us his whole live. We go away for just an hour and he greets us as if we were gone all day. He sleeps with us and he has a big fenced in backyard that he and his brother lives so much. He sleeps in the sofa and love seat or his bed during the day. He IS FA😊MILY

Sweet puppies. Mama was lucky to find such a wonderful home. Did you know an actual whelping box has a low shelf around the inside? The purpose is to give puppies a space to wiggle under if the mother accidentally lays on a pup. Especially if the breed is large, as pups are sometimes trapped under mama and smothered.

You lady and your husband are so kind! Thank you for all you did for this Mom. The puppies are beautiful! Only saw it today!

I am glad you kept her and raised the puppies. Given that only 1 in 10 puppies before the current financial downturn found a permanent home, I can't criticize people who abort the puppies. I've personally found and rescued over 60 dogs in my 70 years (Not counting the 20 or so puppies that came after the rescues). Most of the pregnant females miscarried, probably due to the malnourished state I found them in. I've never seen a difference in motherliness between female dogs who had had puppies and those who hadn't.
