Random question to ask on a karting video… :p But the answer to that all depends on what the Sergeant in charge of the range that day decides. Majority of the time, we trained on semi auto. Only time I shot automatic was when I was made M240 gunner. However, one time I did got the chance to shoot burst with an M4, and it was my last. Rifle jammed up so bad I couldn’t un jam it without help. Long answer and sorry it took so long to reply.

I’m using the GoPro Jaws on the roll-bar of the kart (if they have one). What issues are you having with your helmet mount? Vibrations? What GoPro you using?

It has me blown that this type of doctrine is for the front man to not shoot the immediate enemy to his side but watch the door first and have the second man shoot the person to his left/right. That's what gets people killed. Shoot the immediate threat, then focus on the door until everyone's at their position, and move. Rinse and Repeat.

huh? I see a clear doctrine here. Invade the room, slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Cut through the house before the enemy understands what is happening. However, I am conventional infantry, and I cannot speak to your knowledge and I cannot see your perspective. To me this was some of the best by the book smooth as fuck CQC I have seen on camera. Assuming you know what ur talking about id like to learn. Assuming you are some guy on a keyboard or phone I would like to inform you, this is actually incredibly good CQC. The thing with CQC is its very dynamic and yes we can train a very specific way with paper targets and soldiers that dont get shot but the real world is much more dynamic, with furniture and booby traps and possible automatic weapons already trained on doors. CQC is almost always a lose lose situation. Reading any literature or watching any raw media on it always shows just how quickly this kind of training dissolves into a drone strike or just riddling the building to nothing with grenades and automatic weapons. The odds of taking a house like this even with the best cqc training with this amount of combatants and taking no casualties are slim to none. So you see the doctrine. You see the system. In a pinch it works. Maybe not for fucking Delta, but it works.

@@tk9wtky thats only for training value man, these are live rounds with live men in the room. Obviously in the real world you shoot. But the training rules say no shooting until everyone is in place. Its just army gay

Art Alfonso your statement about command not wanting the first man to engage is correct. I knew if I see a target first I engage the target. However, safety was priority since I was in a heavy weapons infantry company.

If you are 1st through the door you are mostly dead anyway...

I recently raced at K1 speed in Houston and their manager stated that action cameras are no longer allowed to film on track at ALL locations because of one person not wanting to be filmed. This disappointing decision will drive away many customers who like film their driving on track and the free advertising they receive from various videos like your own. I also got to drive these electric karts at another facility. How do you control the kart hopping in turns on track? This issue is preventing me from achieving faster lap times. LONE WOLF 1 I keep hearing many different reasons as of why. Regardless, I think this decision could not have been more wrong. As for the hopping, I have yet to figure out how to control it. I wish there were gas powered go kart tracks or I was able to afford one...

Gable Schoenfelder truth be told, there was contact with the racer in front. I had the speed and I went for it and at the same time he tried to close the door on me. It could've been more cleaner than that. At least that's what I think...

Gable Schoenfelder I'm hoping one day I'll be able to move to gas powered, but I know that moving towards that area means you putting more money into it. Even having your own kart.

I am not sure about the extra money part. I stick with gas powered rental karts in my location and the costs of rental are drastically less versus owning your karts and that the rentals reach higher speeds versus the owner karts run at my local facility (except shifters). Costs will vary based on location and type of kart series you are in.

The contact at 18:20 was definitely not your fault. The other driver went defensive too late and sealed his own fate turning into you. This exact scenario occurred in my final race competition also taking place on 9/3. The marshals did not penalize you for his mistake.

Just saw your comment. I didn’t hold it against him. After all, he was just a kid, and last k would’ve wanted was to ruin his experience. Made me see also to be cautious around kids barely been introduced to kart racing.

Captain Slow jonathan and I went the next day and got 18.06 and 18.08 in the same cart lol. The cart you ran it in was super tuned, the previous record was there for 11 months.
