i dont actually hate the pd3 beta or anything this video was for fun, if ur interested in what i actually think about it: i think the skill system is half-baked (mainly the skills themselves being mostly uninteresting) compared to the one we had in payday 2 but that is subject to change if the game lives long enough, seeing as payday 2 itself had a complete rework of its skill system in u100 (2016) and then a few minor ones

The beginning error with connecting is already stated by the devs to be intentional in the sense that the closed beta is not meant to involve you being able to start and run your own lobby. This isn't news to anyone who's been paying attention. The error of you thinking the game "scales with single player" is on you. payday 2 never did, payday 1 never did, and there's no reason payday 3 should nor have they announced anything to that allusion. Some people THINK payday 2 scaled the amount of cops you fight, but this was proven false by the game's code. The error of you meleeing instead of just using the very obvious "take human shield" option, or choosing to shoot him in the head when you clearly have a suppressor, which indicates you have already run through at least a little bit, not to mention that the very reveal of payday 3 showed a revamp to the whole stealthing system, is again on you. Falling from the sky after dying, that's an actual error the devs should work on. Person running out with a single tick of health, clearly going to die. that's a knock on the player, not the game. Might wanna work on more than editing if you're going to say the beta sucks when half the things that went wrong were your own doing.
