For castaway, it was would be a view directly of the island because the ship backs into the port there, so I think that would be great. For lookout cay I think you would be facing the ocean because there island is just on one side of you. The other ports all vary but hopefully that helps some!

We are so lucky to be able to go often! I don’t have a ton of tips but maybe a few little ideas! When we started cruising with Disney we did 4-night cruises and always picked the least expensive time to go in January or February. We also always book a placeholder while we are on our cruise so we get 10 percent discount. And I book it using our Disney visa which means you have 6 months interest fee to pay off the vacation which is nice for flexibility. I have never done this last tip but I’ve seen people book a guaranteed stateroom where you don’t get to pick your exact room just the category and that can save a lot depending on the cruise!

I actually would recommend the high seats I think! We had the low seats and they were great and they are in front of the high seats which you think would be better. However, there were some globe lights that were lower obstructing my view a little bit, depending on where my chair was. It didn’t really bother me because I just scooted my chair to the side, but I think if you had the high seats, you would maybe see over those lights that look like globes. Anyways, I have seen some other reviews with people at high seats and it seemed like they all liked their experience as well so that’s the one I would go with next time for what it’s worth!

Ah so exciting! We have never parked our car at the terminal but here is what I know. You will be at either terminal 8 or 10 at port Canaveral depending on when your cruise is leaving. Here is more information on the Disney website: disneycruise.disney.go.com/guest-services/departure-port-address-parking/?. There is an official designated paid parking area operated by the port and it is $17 per day including arrival and departure days. So you don’t need to find a separate parking lot. Oh my gosh that's amazing! Have the best time! I'm trying to remember how early we got there. I think they announced the muster over the speakers approximately 20 minutes before 4pm and the muster drill was supposed to start at 4pm. So as soon as they explained it over the speakers we went up and got a seat. So I'm thinking it was about 15 minutes early? Some people wait and don't go up right away or get there right before 4pm and then there are no seats left. I hope that helps!

We have been dropped off by Uber before but never driven and parked. When you don’t use Disney transportation you don’t get an early port arrival time automatically assigned, but that’s ok just check in as soon as possible to get the earliest time you can.

For the remaining powder mix, I put it in a Ziploc bag to store it. For the remaining dole whip, if we don’t eat the whole thing, I flatten it with a spoon and put it back in the freezer. Then when you want to eat the rest you mix it up again fresh just like I did in this video, on the ice cream setting and then a remix. Thanks for watching!!

Kids never know we are gone till we have to wake them up when we come back to the room. Also, do some devotions together up there.
