Honestly a lot of this journey has been experimental. I believe that the minoxidil works best when it’s naturally absorbed on the scalp vs rubbing it in. Especially with locs (causing frizz). I have an issue with low iron. When I’m not taking my iron my hair sheds and grows slowly. I was only treating my hair in certain spots but it’s best to just dab it along the whole scalp

I’m wondering if i were to do the same is it ok to just apply minoxidil on top of my loc parts since i would put the new growth into my locs instead of having to reach my scalp? I have a receding hairline but a big front taper. I want to regrow my hairline and put a lot of my new growth into my locs. It confuses me because they say to apply it to your scalp so if i added my new grown hair to my locs, i wouldn’t be able to reach my scalp in the some of the same areas that i was applying it before because it would be integrated/covered into a loc part.

@@NineZerosOfficial it most definitely helped! There was areas that were very thin on your head but it ended up growing back, then got put into your front locs, which brought your locs closer to your hairline. My biggest question is when applying minoxidil do you just apply it on your surrounding areas or do you still put some on top of your parts so it can try to seep down to your scalp?

@NickSwishh I generally dab it in between the parts. If I’m due for a retwist. I’ll just squirt it directly on the scalp and massage it in

You can use them as well. Finasteride requires a prescription (use “Keeps” or “Hims” if you don’t have a personal doctor. Minoxidil is also used to help with scalp circulation

Wash with aloe Vera fresh leaf and coconut water out of the coconut.... twice ah Month. Wash out Drink rosemary cloves or peppermint tea a least once ah day rotate between the 3. Use rosemary oil clove oil peppermint oil . Would help Oasis

It’s basically a 360 back kick with a roundhouse added to the rotation.

Aside from nutrition. I recommend finasteride, minoxidil and microneedling (needling for the stubborn areas)

Finasteride kinda iffy … I’ve heard they can cause ED sides, unlike minoxidil

@@HiImRheya Only a small percentage of men will experience those side effects. Simply discounting use of the drug will solve the problem

@@HiImRheya no side effects on oral minoxidil? I had noticable blood pressure and heart beat changes after starting oral minox. But yes about 1-3% of men will experience some side effects from finasteride but in my opinion it is worth the risk as the vast majority of men have no sides and keep their hair. Ive been on fin for 4 years and experienced nothing. HOWEVER i did experience some VERY MILD sides from dutasteride so just exercise caution.
