This is an important topic, I have to admit I felt a little triggered at times. I’m watching this just after the news of the FDA not accepting MDMA therapy, it is unfortunate but also I find their reasoning understandable, mostly around ethics. I’m on the MAPS mailing list and I often cringe at the tone of their emails, Doblin thinking he is the savior of humanity with psychedelics. Psychedelics are so close to being legal and legitimate, but are really moving into ego inflation, spiritual narcissism and spiritual bypassing. There are many “coaches” out there who have no clinical or psych background, but fall more under this New Age umbrella where everything is all lovey dovey, people believe they are saving humanity or personally tasked with changing the world. There is no understanding of transference, counter transference or projection. So is it really your intuition or is it just ego inflation?

Do anti depressants that work on serotonin prevent or inhibit a psilocybin response? Some people are saying they tried mushrooms while on SSRI and they had zero effect🤔

I've been talking desvenlafaxine for 3 years now im going to start tapering myself off. As i do so im going to take phylabcyben, so hopefully, i can get off it faster without going through the withdrawals.

I'm on anxiety medication and have been trying to get high on shrooms... doesn't seem to work as apparently the meds kill the trip.. any suggestions on how to bypass this problem... maybe if I stop taking them for a couple days before

I am taking Cymbalta AND microdose and I love it, in fact I don’t even want to stop neither of them.

I am currently on Auvelity and prozac and I took 800mg of psilocybin last night. The effects were subtle and mild, more like a buzz than anything else. Today I feel alot happier than normal and am wondering if this is placebo effect or could the small amount I took actually have had some benefit?

I’m on Prozac and tried mushrooms yesterday. I took the whole amount because half did nothing. The 2nd half had very little effect. I just want relief but because of Prozac I’m just blah😢

The Oregon pricing for a mushroom trip is absolutely outrageous. $2500-$3000. Are you kidding me. What a joke. Great content here but the pricing of these miraculous medicines is a joke. I’d love to learn to be a psychedelic therapist and or guide tho.

I'm on MAOI Phenelzine. I'm microdosing with Stamets stack. 0.1g psilocybin with 400mg lions mane plus Niacin Vit B). I'm very cautious and worked my way up to 0.2 truffles. (Equals 0.1g of mushrooms) Not interested in tripping at all!

Super, super, super informative! Thank you :) Rarely do I sit through long videos, and I don’t even consider myself to be too science oriented. I’m trying to do a lot of research in order to make a safe and informed decision, and this helped a lot. I love the use of a powerpoint too (I’m a visual learner). It made it so much easier to understand, and if it was just talking the whole time I would have clicked off. Great stuff ♥️

I am taking Wellbutrin (Buproprion) and I wonder what is the interaction between psilocybin and wellbutrin? Should I also take larger quantity of psilocybin because I am taking wellbutrin?

So the first case - Jennifer - was told to stop 3 antidepressants cold turkey ten days before a psilocybin retreat? This seems like a reckless approach. I would think many people would be having withdrawls - both physical and emotional within a few days of stopping cold turkey. Getting on a plane and taking psilocybin after 10 days cold stopping turkey seems like awful advice. The withdrawal symptoms from ssri’s are often severe and you will most likely not be in a healthy mind state to take a powerful psychedelic. I guess Jennifer was the lucky one who somehow didn’t have a psychological crisis until after the retreat after stopping her meds cold turkey.
