#8 - Is corporate venture capital right for you? - Hans Maenhout
The general reduction in venture capital activity over the last two years, how difficult it is for industrial startups to raise venture investment, and the case for corporate venture capital (CVC) have recently been talk of the town in the manufacturing landscape. To get to the bottom of this, we invited Hans Maenhout, Investment Director at Finindus, a Belgian venture capital (VC) firm focusing on industrial technologies.

bring women in manufacturing sector? you want women innovators, not just innovators of any gender/sex? ok, that's an opinion, I guess.
Perhaps you should look at the way the EUs protocol is a disaster for Northern Irelands small business. I spent years working on a great supply route from England for small much needed parts on a fantastic next day delivery basis. Now due to the EUs protocol we are lucky to get deliveries in a week and that is if we can find companies in GB willing to spend time on illegal customs on small orders. The EU do not care about our small businesses closing due to their rules which we had no say in making or even a vote to see if we want them.
It's not the EU's protocol; both sides signed it. Then consider which alternatives were on the table: Sea border Hard border (which would have breached the GFA) Remain in the SM and the CU. This issue is due to how brexit has been desired and managed by Frost &C.
