Lil Bunnies

Lil Bunnies was a Sacramento, California-based garage punk band. The band is best known for their physical, violent performances, as well as the massacre of a 1996 Easter parade, which they forced themselves into with their own float, dressed as bunnies, playing their intense music for a crowd of many children who were shocked and terrified by the band's "shouted obscenities and vulgar gestures."

We were on the floor! So much fun!!!
*1978-1980, with the exception of The Uncalled 4, who recorded their single in 1984 and pressed it in 1985. However, they slapped a 1979 copyright date on their original 45, which fooled compiler Ryan Richardson, who continued to be lied to as he worked on this collection. Their reason for the hoax, according to guitarist Randy Reeves as quoted in an article written by a perturbed Richardson for Maximum Rock & Roll: "(Our) motivation had to do with our feeling like outsiders and finally having a place in history, even if it was scammed rather than earned."
Love it. Thanks
I love a nice prostate massage.
My copy was gifted to me by Patty Costa, who ran that label. A very nice person.
Who are you?! Thank you for filming this. Till now this show has only lived vaguely in my memory and a couple okay pics. So incredible to watch now after all these years. Pretty sure this was some time in 2000
Thank you for uploading this.. I think this was our first show (Myiasis) opening for Infernal Legion!
San Francisco California 1982 Punk Rock. James Kennedy Brunot founder, songwriter, played drums and sang. Rest in peace. ( Various singers and musicians cycled through, James and Kevin were the core ).
One of my favorite drummers of all time. There was some tragedy that happened to this group from what I recall
I lived in Tempe in 84' and was into good shit, but never seen heard or was told about these guys, awesome, demented, and rude. I love it, sounds like Punk Prog meets Pere Ubu a little ? Good One ,I think 😅
Bought this in North Lima, OH at Purple Frog Records back in the late 90s. Blew my mind. Still one of my favorite albums.
John would have loved this, ya know?
Hey hey, I made some cameo appearances!
F yh. Thanks bro.
Ouch
I liked this band till i found out one of the guys ended up being a nazi skinhead for the rest of his life.
The stuff they did with Ron Reckless on vocals is their best by far.
Amazing band!!
None of these haircuts meet ar 670-1
One album I should have bought back in the day, along with amuck. Thanks for posting this little gem of early 80's Phoenix punk. Cheers.

Spits=Fun!
Incredible to find this! Way back in late '82 Urban Assault was playing at The Golden Grommet on Irving Street, in the Inner Sunset. During the break drummer Jim comes over to join us, he knows my buddy James Palmer (JP called Jim "Skinhead", if memory serves?) We're all shooting the breeze when Jim finds out I'm an ex-Navy nuke! He grabs a napkin and writes his dad's phone number - call him, he can help you find a job. *UNDERSTATEMENT!* Jim's pops is a brilliant nuclear engineer, who guided me towards a career that lasted almost four decades! And it all started right there, on a Sunday afternoon at The Golden Grommet, thanks to drummer Jim. It still seems beyond belief but yep, it really happened. And RIP to our good buddy James Palmer, who died of a heroin overdose just a few weeks later…
I am Jims son. Dad and grandpa both passed a few months back. I would love to here more stories of "the good old days". They were both incredible men I hope to honor their legacy. And yes grandpa "Bill" was a truly brilliant mind lol i will always be in great debt to his teaching and mentoring
Hi James Pearson Palmer was a close friend of James Kennedy Brunot, Kevin Callahan, and Paul DiPaulo.( James Palmer was not called skinhead. ) Dying young doesn't make you more glamorous, and dying old doesn't take everything you were away from you. Life twists time away, spend time with who you love because you can't bring back the dead.
Formidabili. Sono riuscito a trovare un 12" di questa band. Mi piacerebbe trovare anche il 7" dei FUN THINGS ma è introvabile.... Grazie 👍 👍
the sicilian vespers lol i like them. baccala!!!
LOL that's a funny title. Obviously riffing on "this is boston, not LA comp"
Sure enjoyed listening. 😀

Throwdown
I guess I’m the first and only to comment. Saw these guys in San Francisco in 1985 or 86 at the Valencia Tool and Die. They rocked!
ive heard alot of stories from my dad and aunt about the tool and die. rad dude
My band played there! Soldiers of Fortune.
Heat House...about Florence prison, no air conditioning in the summer.
Hell yea! Head Bang’n in my house !!!
first song reminds me of the germs, i mean that in a good way
if Darby wasn't as dishevelled and drugged up as he was, I could see them turning into this
Absolutely! I had the same thought.
Nice upload more videos of Seattle
Man I miss this record!!!! I lent this out, forgot about it and never got it back!!!
Thank you
Wow. The seperation of bass and guitar sounds fabulous on this compared to other channels. Is this an original vinyl or a more recent edition? Guitar is nice and wildly darkly catchy and bass holds down the low end with scratchy rumble and pops in places in that great aggresive underground early 80's way. I think also underrated how fukin good this sounds all things considered. Yeah 11/10
