Beautiful Canadian Coast Nature...love it 👍
❤❤❤❤❤
FYI, Southern BC killer whales are critically endangered. Drones can be no closer than 900m, and must be higher than 300m. Boats cannot be closer than 400m. Lots of uninformed, self-absorbed twats out there that day.
Thank you for taking the time to comment. FYI these are the Northern Resident Orcas and as already stated on numerous occasions, this is not our drone, the drone is from the research boat that is authorised to use it, we are on the beach and captured this encounter quite by chance.
Scuna is alone male?
No, there were others around, Skuna was the one that came closest to the boat.
@@wildadventures0311I have not found any information on the Internet about this killer whale. Tell us more about her.
I42 of the I13's, Skuna is missing, presumed deceased.@@ibrahimsultanov7355
@@wildadventures0311(((((sorry
I watched the whole thing. must have missed the incredible part
Sorry to hear that.
So beautiful, thank u
You are so welcome!
I wonder if the drone’s noise in any way distressed the whales?
Yes, they do. Drones must fly higher than 300m, and no closer than 900m. Whoever flew the drone is an A hole. Souther killer whales are critically endangered.
I doubt it, but we will never know
I absolutely love to watch wildlife videos and I love the sounds as much as the wildlife I also like to read comments at the end of the videos because sometimes I learn from what others have to say but more often than not it’s comments of people complaining for one reason or another I don’t leave unless they’re nice or I informative because negative comments are really a drag on my wellbeing and besides I’m in control I can stop watching no leave likes don’t subscribe and I know how to mute the sound so thank you for this video I’ve never seen them so close to the beach and now I haven’t to learn why thank you
Thank you for your lovely comments, we share our videos because not everyone is able to go to places like Vancouver Island and witness themselves. Negative comments are distracting and unnecessary, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Orcas rubbing on beaches is rare to see, the rubbing beaches on Johnstone Strait are restricted areas. This beach is a public beach, but it is policed by a group of enthusiasts who love the visiting Orcas. The Drone is from the research boat.
What is that noise. Spoiling the whole encounter. 😢
A drone from the research boat.
liberals are disturbing
Monteray bay is beach then a deep drop so grays come right next to shore and pop out of the water to take a look at people on the beach its very cool steve didnt remember it😢 were does your head have to be to not remeber a mother and calf looking at you 4 feet away?
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Which bay or beach is this?
Bere Point, Malcolm Island.
That was a beautiful video. I just turned the volume down and enjoyed the view! Namaste. 🌎☮️🩵
Glad you enjoyed it!
Rare in north Vancouver island? I don’t think so. Hence all the tour boats.
Rubbing on a beach is very rare to see.
@ I don’t know…I’ve rubbed one off on the beach before.😁
Looks like some orcas rubing on the beach. Sure looks like bear point.
It is, thank you for commenting.
For anyone that wants to see orcas don’t go on the charters. Take the ferry on a clear day - same routes through the straights for Pennie’s on the dollar.
Orcas must have really needed a scratch to put up with all your drone noise. I wouldn’t recommend trying to swim with them Kilroy.
Not my drone noise.
Had an Atlantic bottle nose chase fish right past me close enough to touch ( but I just stood real still). Thrilling.
Thank you for sharing your experience
Someone once asked me "Do you ever tire looking at the moon?" And of course, I said "No!" Nature is so special and fascinating that whatever it is, I never get tired of looking at it. I will never forget being on a boat when I first saw a dolphin. In an instant, I turned into an excited three year-old kid and could not take my eyes off of the dolphin. It sure looked like the people in this video experienced this magic and excitement of a young child. I am so happy that they got to see the Orcas!
Great video 👍 didn't know you had Manitoba mosquitoes 🍁 out there
How beautiful! 🩵
It really is
You can see this behavior all over BC.
That drone noise is annoying. But inbetween the buzzing I heard some eagle chortles. Cool ❤
The whales are all over here, and it is illegal to overfly cetaceans with a Drone. Look up the regulations before you do stupid shit 🥴🇨🇦
I will reiterate that the Drone that you can hear is from the licensed research vessel offshore, we were on the beach and used a handheld camera to take the video footage.
@@wildadventures0311 Okay, that's a very noisy drone 😉
Pretty obvious the footage is not from a drone. Think before posting stupid shit.
Maybe you should think about the stupid shit you post before you post stupid shit.@stevecarlisle3323
@stevecarlisle3323 maybe know what you are talking about before saying stupid shit.
Giant mosquitoes and it’s not even summer.
Thankyou I love this ❤🖤🐬
That is pretty close to shore. Must get deep relatively fast there...
They rub on the pebbles
@wildadventures0311 You can see where the edge kind of drops off quickly underwater...
@@wildadventures0311 When I was sunbaking off Bribie Island, Queensland. My toes were in the water when I glanced up as a fin was about one metre away. It was a relief when the dolphin moved to reveal its identity. When the fin first appeared on the video, I immediately remembered. The film is remarkable, thank you.
Thank you for sharing this! ❤
You are so welcome!
watching this, never gets old. what a delight. Thanks for sharing.
listening to the sounds, including the eagle chirping, and even the drone...lets us know how " real" the clip really is...awesome
You are welcome, glad you like it
You are welcome
Would have been better if you’d just cut the audio: those drones are really irritating.
Why not show the experience from the drone perspective?
Not our drone.
How is he so close to the shores edge without getting stuck on the rocks/ bottom?? WOW! STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL <3
Ooh, Aah, people do realize these are deadly predators?!?!
Let them alone.
Dont fly the drone where you’re standing.
The drone was from the research boat.
Beautiful watching how they play around. The song is fantastic ❤
Drone noise really spoiled the video
So, you’d rather not have the footage?
Since no drone footage involved in video, no I'd rather no drone noise......None of this was from a drone so makes no difference to this video, all taken from shore ....smartass remarks arent helpful!
The drone was on the research boat, our footage was taken from the beach. We had only been there for five minutes when the Orcas arrived, it was an amazing experience.
@@UA-camreplies the footage came from the guy with the clicky noise, it's called a camera 😞🇨🇦
@ Did you jump into that with eager anticipation in ability to demean? Did it make your day ? Did you think that up in your best Clint Eastwood voice ? I wasn’t saying the drone captured the video. I was relating how menial the background noise weighed in for me. Mangogrower would rather not watch the video because the background noise “spoiled it.” David Attenborough wasn’t consulted. I enjoyed the share.
Salmon are close in....all the storms stirred up the bottom
The sound of people excited to see these amazing creatures close up in the wild.
The audio is cringe.
Black Death looking for sailboats.
Bucket list definitely 2025…..
Great encounter, but for me the drone noise spoiled the overall experience.
Get real
You should know by now: any wildlife video should be watched with the volume turned all the way down….not so much for drone noise, but because typically humans can’t keep their mouths closed and blab on and on while filming…
So, you’d rather not have the video?
You’re like those people that bought a car with no blinkers.
Then turn the sound down. 🙄
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice to see them up close!
I want my 50 seconds back. This could be shorter.
Beautiful!
Thank you
They are probably trying to work out how to work in tandem to capsize the boat by creating a tsunami and have the giggling idiots for breakfast 😁
Sea name ?
The woman’s voice in this video gave me diabetes. If she has any male children, 99% chance they’re a psychopath. She’ll ask “where did I go wrong”, but she knows…. She knows.
So epic, hopefully I can visit Vancouver oneday
