Hey everyone, this is my personal channel where I threw things on here that I enjoy. A lot of it is music I love, you will see a ton of SAVATAGE related stuff here. There's also videos of my dogs - Odin, my Husky, who unfortunately passed not too long ago. There's D&D references in here.
I love writing, but confident I will never finish the novel I started - and now DM regularly for some incredible people. I turned my passion for D&D and writing into writing Character stories for people (and one adventure, which I have a sequel planned for). You can check it out on DMsGuild - www.dmsguild.com/browse.php?author=Tawmis%20Logue
I grew up loving Sierra Online games - and been playing those on a separate channel over here: ua-cam.com/users/LetsPlaySierraGames
This channel is a mishmash of everything. Chaos, really. Like life. Take care of each other. Be kind to each other. Accept our differences and show compassion always. Much love to you all.

Solid band musically, that like many others, was buried in the influx of metal back in the day. These guys had something else going against them - they were considered a Christian band. Which sadly, means, most people wouldn't give them a shot. The metal community always seemed to shun "Christian Metal" and Christians despised metal. These guys were solid, and a shame they didn't go somewhere.

U.S. Tour dates???
Would not hold my breath. Simple matter is - Europe has these big shows that allow multiple bands to play these gigs. The US fails in that area, it's really that simple. The US doesn't really have any big "metal" events, other than "Ozz Fest." So the likelihood of seeing Savatage in the US is going to be slim - until they release this "final" album that they're working on (tentatively called "Curtain Call") - and I suspect the amount of US shows they play will not be very many. It's simply not profitable these days - seen plenty of bands, who have been producing albums non stop, cancel tours because of the cost.
Jeej and 😪😪😪 I hopeeee soooo much... offcourse we love U!!! Get better fast!!!
I forgot how incredible Shortino was. Need to find my Rough Cutt albums
He is also the (current?) vocalist for King Kobra and has done a few albums with them.
Great stuff...I was at this show.
Very cool - always love hearing from Savatage fans! Especially cool to hear about when folks were at some of these shows!
Peace be to you, Find The Kingdom. Chris died in his prime. Death comes like the thief in the night. The righteous go off in their sleep. Elijah with Enoch
I saw this tour, in Cleveland With Fates Warning, was freaking amazing! Then went and saw TSO with the wife about 2 months later.
Wife and I flew out to Florida to see them - two shows back to back (birthday gift for me). Then went to Hardrock Cafe and requested to sit where Criss Oliva's guitar hangs. Was absolutely epic. There was a plan to go visit Criss' grave, but we did not make it. Wife and I also saw TSO - though admittedly, the last time we saw them was a few years back (I have videos on here somewhere) - and have not seen them after they stopped coming to San Diego (they play up north when they hit this area, closer to Los Angeles). Which is a bummer (and very frustrating...)
I think I have the audio recording of one of the Florida shows I went to from this tour on here as well. If not, I will need to dig it up and post it here.
Thanks man! I really still wait since i learned about it but let's hope he will get well soon! That's the main thing now! Maybe it's the only new album i am waiting to listen to! Hail Savatage!
Indeed, wanting that new Savatage album, but definitely want Jon to take care of himself.
So much love for this man ❤😊🤘🤘
Agreed - hoping all the best for Jon and his health. He's gone through quite a bit with his health and his life and loss.
💔
Yeah, the M.S. part of the news is very sad.
2 wrongs don't make a right, but in this case, 2 rights make a match made in heaven, well done... I love the movie Clue, I love Sierra On Line games. Both made regular appearances in my childhood through to today where I am almost 50.
We are much alike, you and I. Sierra was a foundation when I discovered KQ1 and LS1 EGA versions, thanks to my then, best friend's father showing them to us. I was hooked after that. (I have another channel ( www.youtube.com/@LetsPlaySierraGames ) where I started playing them and uploading them! And CLUE... I can't even begin to say how much I love CLUE. One of my all time favorite movies, and one of the very few movies on my iPad so I can watch it if I ever go on travel.
🎉
Not sure if you know or not , SAVATAGE IS GOING TO PERFORM IN BRAZIL FOR "MONSTERS of ROCK" in 2025. 🌹🎸
I saw! I am very excited to hear that's happening - hopefully that brings news of their upcoming album too!! I wish I could afford to go to Brazil and be at that show...
Also - I love the fact you know what a big Savatage fan I am (clearly from all of my Savatage videos on here) that you came to my channel to tell me this! That is so freaking cool of you! Much, much, much, much appreciated! Rock on! Madness Reigns!!

@@Rich-jd9up I also just uploaded a quick video to talk about it, because, why not? :)
Seen them at California theater. Opened for Megadeth and Motörhead 85?
I saw them at a number of shows. I remember Megadeth (pretty sure) - I don't think I saw Motorhead (if it was the same show, I am not remembering!) I remember seeing them at a few local bands playing together (like Chalace and Prowler and Victim). Was definitely a solid band that should have found real success beyond the local scene. The flyer from the thumbnail, my best friend found while he was cleaning out his garage. So I asked for a photo so I could throw it online. Just found a FB page that had some live photos from Bible Black - so probably gonna grab the same three songs in this video (it's the only songs I have from them) - and reupload with the photos from the FB page.
Early 80s I would hear of them a lot. I was about 16 when I saw them. Too young for the club shows. Remember Hirax or Santa Clause?A lil harder. Adam’s Ave had some great shows in 83-84. Speed fest, thrash fest- punk fest was my Jam. Oi!
@@johnnygerard6605 I can't say I remember Santa Clause... but Hirax sounds familiar, but honestly can't say I remember any songs... just the name sounds familiar...
hmmm still no new album
Yeah. Jon has gone silent. I know he had a DUI not too long ago (with other substances found in the car), then he took a fall (or something) and busted up his back. So I suspect those two events have put a delay on this seeing the light of day as soon as he (and all of the rest of us) had hoped. Hoping that this still comes to be - but he's been silent again, as far as I have been able to check the web to see if he's popped up on some random site to discuss this album's future.
Tawmis Thanks for the Share 😊Jon Oliva is trying to keep it Alive.💥A Guinness the MusicK World will never Give Him the Credit He Deserves 🤏🏼
Always glad to hear of other Savatage fans - and yes, despite how great Jon Oliva has been not only with Savatage, but with TSO, he will probably never get the proper credit he deserves - just like his brother, Criss who was taken from us too soon. He should be recognized for the amazing work he gave the world while he was with us.
Thank you so much for sharing this, several Savatage songs on hear I’ve never had the privilege of listening to before 🙏
Savatage is full of so many great songs! I'd recommend checking them all out (and not the live versions! Live is cool - but the album versions are obviously much clearer than this kind of live recording!) :)
@@TawmisGreybeard oh I’m aware, they’re my fav band of all time so I’ve already listened to all their albums and even a lot of their Avatar stuff. It’s just that these live recordings tend to have stuff that never ended up making it on their records so they’re very cool to come across and listen to

I have an original “We’re Stars” T Shirt that I bought of Wendy at a charity auction of hers and I have a decent amount of signature’s on it who were in the project
That's really cool.
My first concert ever was Yngwie Malmsteen. Black and Blue and Saxon were the opening acts.
That would have been a pretty bad ass concert to be your first!
Thanks for sharing, wherevdo you even find this?
I had a bunch of Savatage live videos as well as live mp3 recordings... some of them are my own, some I got off of file shares from eons ago, and some are from UA-cam that I've collected. This is one of those I had collected.
TRACK OFF YOU COOD HAVE PUT ELVIS VIDIO
The track is off because the actual footage from that show when I filmed it - I was way too close to the speakers, so the actual audio is useless. So I ended up just grabbing the videos I recorded, and splicing them together (they were different songs during the show) and putting it to the "Red Rum (Live)" from the "Best of Lizzy Borden" CD.
Is the full album uploaded somwhere??
This is the only recording I have of them!
I have pictures of this band when they opened for Stryper in san diego at the fox or California theater in 85. 🤘
I was at that show as well, but I think you may be thinking of the local band called "Chalice"- because that's who I remember opening for Stryper in 85 in San Diego.
(I could be wrong... but I swear it was "Chalice"... I know I saw Bible Black with, I think, opening for Megadeth?

You had the LP version of Japan Live? Incredible - I'd only ever had it (still have it) on CD. Savatage is one of the few bands I still kept the CDs after "digital music" became a thing.

Yes! I just replied in your other comment about a memory I have about this song - ua-cam.com/video/yVjbGl4Mq0s/v-deo.html&lc=UgzaJk4BnGTwtmg8B_54AaABAg
I was 18 and moved to Hollywood from VA to go to MI. I met Chris the drummer in point panic in ‘88. I went to a few shows and was Jonny Edwards’ guitar tech for their show opening for John Entwistle at the country club in Reseda. I have such great memories hanging out with the band and going to their shows and even had the opportunity to surf with Johnny down in Encinitas. The conditions were fair at best and yet Jonny managed to catch every little bump that came through and easily did 360s on what seems like every ride he took. Dream Girl was a great song they had as well. I think they were before their time as far as the music industry was concerned as Ugly Kid Joe took their act and got famous for it. At least that’s what I remember.
Yes! I loved Point Panic. I think my big memory was seeing them (at the then called) Del Mar Fair, and they'd just finished playing one of their songs, and my friends and I shouted, "Bubble Gum Surf Wax!" And they laughed - and went ahead and played that song. I have Dream Girl and Little Sister on here too - made a play list with all four of their songs from this cassette tape: ua-cam.com/video/9JUjHq1N4Qs/v-deo.html
@@TawmisGreybeard that’s awesome! Loved that band!
@@arif-hodzic Same! I had followed Andy over from his days with Snakebyte, whom I loved. I was very bummed to see Snakebyte part ways - and then two really fun bands come out of that - Point Panic and King Neptune (which Wally, the vocalist) fronted. Shame that NONE of those three bands found fame (Snakebyte, before their departure seemed to be getting close - lots of radio play on KGB FM... back when they played rock and metal)... King Neptune and Point Panic, never got anywhere close as they did when they were just Snakebyte.
@@TawmisGreybeard wow! Obviously, I came into the mix after Snakebyte and I’d only heard the name of that band, but didn’t know the history. I also didn’t know about King Neptune. @@arif-hodzic I have King Neptune's 45 (from my own record that I exported) - I have it here. And yeah, also a San Diego (Wally was the singer of Snakebyte). So Adrian Smith and Dave Murray didn't play any part?
They did rhythm work, from what I understand, but did not partake in the actual solos.
And here I was expecting a leaked NEW SAVATAGE track. 😋🙃😉🤘🏼🎸🤘🏼
There needs to be an LOL Reaction. Yeah. I have been scouring just to see if Jon or anyone has popped up anywhere on the web, on some obscure site, to give some kind of SAVATAGE update, and it's been bone dry out there.
Just discovering these…sweet mercy they were great.
Absolutely agree. Unfortunately these were the only two songs they ever released on a 45 album. So I was able to capture the audio finally by running the record player into a digital recorder - and do my best to clean it up. Wally Passet sang for SNAKEBYTE before this - and if you've not heard them, strongly recommend it. I have the album, but have not uploaded it yet. I know they recently (well, within the last 5... 10... ? Where has the time gone?) years re-released their album with a bunch of bonus songs (which, for the most part are not as great as the original album). Andy, from SNAKEBYTE, after their departure formed a band called POINT PANIC that has the... Beach Boys meets Heavy Metal sound do it - they released a 4 song cassette which I was also able to export. I have that play list over here... ua-cam.com/play/PLCC2UwLOFVCFJ6SxODg8QOhEeUAgpSwHr.html And finally, thanks for checking out the video and dropping a comment! Much appreciated.

Can´t stop the rain , the best song of the band is not here. A pitty!!!.
Las canciones que contiene son: Power Love, Stranger In The City, Victim of Circumstance, Hungry for Love, Love Is A Lie, Forgotten Sons, Kamikaze, Code of Honor, Snakebite y Dance with the Devil.
Such a kick ass band!!!

Yeah - that's last I heard too. Had put up a video (ua-cam.com/video/RvuDJYzKyhM/v-deo.html). He also took a fall not too long ago and messed up his back - so I imagine that's putting a delay on the release/completion. :( But always glad to talk to other Sava-Fans!
@@TawmisGreybeard ANYTIME MAN ! 🤘🏼🎸🤘🏼 Great to chat with another fan as well !
Legos ? NO SAVATAGE ? What's up ? 😆😆 😉 jk
Bwhahaha! TRUST ME. I am trying to dig up some SAVATAGE news!! :D
I like how Kevin DuBrow is acting like he's leading the band by swinging his arm down to let everyone know to drop pitch.
Kevin always seemed pretty animated in everything he did. (RIP)

Drugs are bad mkay
Where the love for Robert
I wasn't the original recorder of the video - but I think they wanted the whole band. All I did was zoom the camera away from the photographers in a post edit (see the description for the original video).
One of the greatest Bands ever amen
Agreed - they're still putting out great music each and every time they release an album.
