Splenic Tumor in Dogs: Surgery and Recovery | The Cancer Vet - Episode 81
Rani was diagnosed with a splenic mass approximately a measuring 6 cm when she first came to us. Given the risks of splenic masses-whether benign or malignant-we recommended a splenectomy to prevent potential rupture and life-threatening internal bleeding. Rani underwent the procedure and has been doing very well since. Her histopathology confirmed the mass was benign, meaning she is now free to live a happy, healthy life without concern.
