Kayacura Music is a physical and virtual entity to produce and share my original and authentic music. You can find my live jams on this channel and in near fruture I'll be doing live streams and uploading more refined works. I am a self-taught music and sound explorer. My background is accoustic guitar and I composed couple of songs for it. Couple of years ago I felt in love with electronic music and sound design. With limitations of not having an official music education I also compose my own ideas on piano.
I live in beautiful South Bohemia, Czech Republic. In past I played couple of gigs and did some busking with accoustic guitar. Last year I had my fisrt concert playing original electronic music in town of Třeboň. This years higlight was being honoured to play some of my piano works at my friends wedding.
I believe more is to come in future.
Stay tuned.

Kayacura / Aeropeggio
Original track composed, recorded and mixed by Kayacura Music. Enjoy running arpeggios, ambient textures, deep bass and pink-ponging percussions while submerged deep in dreamy soundscapes.
The track has been produced without using computers. All was recorded via hardware in organic and old-fashioned way. Software has been used only for slight EQ before releasing. Motivation to try this kind of workflow was to see if producing music without computer affects decision making and creativity during the process. I haven't produced any track on computer since then and focused more on live jams.
I've originally wanted to film a fully featured video clip with various landscape shots. However, it seem that time is a limiting factor and I can't wait another couple of months to get enought footage. Also, my poor old laptop struggles with full HD editing and to get anything done takes a lot of patience and time. I lack both. :) I've decided it's time to cut corners and be realistic about my expectations. I realised it's better to release projects with imperfections than not releasing them at all. Sometimes it's better to keep things simple. Enjoy!

Acceptance - Relaxing IDM Live Performance (92BPM)
Переглядів 39314 днів тому
The very last jam of 2024. Last day of the year it was the time to relax, let memories of past sink in and start looking towards future. Because rules should be broken from time to time, I added a little bit of pad sound in post process. The track just felt little empty, so I sat with it for couple of hours to make it sound finished. Nothing too crazy, I've added just one instrument in Cubase a...
Is this the last time? / Emotional synth-organ live jam
Переглядів 42621 день тому
Hi! I've been quite torn apart last couple of days and I had this piece waiting to be recorded. Well it sounds kind of heavy. But I'm happy it does, it serves its purpose. I'm emotional person and I love putting emotions into music I make. I really like organ sounds. They have such a powerful sound. About a month ago I spent some time programing organ-ish patches with Minilogue XD and Microfrea...
One of Those Days: Chillout with accoustic guitar (IDM live jam)
Переглядів 610Місяць тому
Accoustic guitar with synths. I've never really tried to make it sound good. Few weeks ago I just randomly added Korg NTS-1 to output of my field recorder and it sounded quite good with guitar. Haven't played quitar much for last year, so I was happy to give it a try. Sometimes, I wish I could jam for whole day and turn those jams into songs and release them. Well, my career is somewhere else a...
Sleeping Hypnosis - Spontaneus Electronica Live Jam

Very improvised jam on Sunday evening. I was supposed to go to bed, was a bit anxious about monday errands so decided to play synths to calm myself a bit. After hour of noodling I decided to record it as I knew I won't play this ever again. I'm happy I did! Enjoy the present moment before it fades away. Because it's where we live. See you next time!
Playing church organ for the first time! (little jam)

What instrument is better than synthetiser? Church organ. Yesterday, I visited a pastor of one small Church in our town. Mária is super friendly and kind. She supports various community projects and loves music. She also adopted two kids and serves God as a pastor. I'm not religious myself, but understand and respect the need for various kinds of spiritual practices. I've never played church or...

Messy Hair: Spontaneous House Jam
Переглядів 1572 місяці тому
Sometimes, I get creative very spontaneously and try to catch anything worth sharing with synth-based music community. After recording this short and catchy tune I realised my hair is utterly messy. Well, sometimes the best recordings are on the way to the shower. Enjoy the Messy Hair tune then!
Long Walk Through a Forest (Dub House jam)

Relaxing dub house jam which evolves a bit over time. I really pushed the length this time. It just felt so good to play music again. Feel free to skip or stop anywhere or just listen the jam as background music. Enjoy! Have a good day everyone!
For those I love: Birthday Mini Piano Session
Переглядів 2743 місяці тому
So I just turned 33 today. What a magical number. I wanted to keep doing the line of small concerts I do on my birthday for people I love. I wasn't able to play for you live this time because of lack of time. Couldn't break the habit tho. :) All I could find was one hour for setting the scene and playing what I had in my mind. No rehearsal, no prep, one try. Just improvisation and couple of ide...

How much money make music
Can totally tell it’s all live recorded, the drums are hypnotising. I want some bongos now 😂. Awesome tune, you sound like a band playing together.
Thanks! There are actually some overdubs as my mixer has midi out and I can sync my synths with recording, almost like in DAW. The drums were happy accident of sorts. It's not actually a drum machine but analogue synth made to play percussions (Minilogue XD) and I think I double tracked those to create more complex patterns.
Perfection ❤ happy new year 🙏
Happy new year to you as well, my friend! 🙂
This is gorgeous and just what i needed on new year's day. I'm sorry this piece came out of a bad place for you, but that's the kicker...good, emotive music always does. Hoping things get better for you in 2025 <3
Hi, thanks for taking your time to write a nice comment. I'm always happy that my music touches someone in a good way. I wouldn't say it came from a bad place, there's nothing bad about feeling emotions of any kind. :)
That was amaaaaazing
🙏
Well... this popped up on my timeline and I am glad it did. What a lovely piece. Sorry you've had a rough time these last few days buddy... I can feel the emotion you out into this,
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you like it.
nice work!
Great tune, midwinter blues in full effect here. Keep good, spring won’t be long.
Thanks a lot! It's been a rough ride lately, but I think the relief is up to come. Be well!
@ I hope so, be well my friend 🙂
Nice jam Dude ❤🎉😊... The Best JaMs are the Ones we Don't expect, its handy to always have your recorder ie .Tascam, Zoom,.. at the ready as you dont catch " ThaT "" Vibe to Often ❤😊....jaffa Jenkins Dawless jams 🎉

Fantastic music and guitar performance! 🔥
That's very kind of you! I really appreciate your feedback!
🔥🔥🔥 Love this, you're a natural, looking forward to a potential electronic / organ project, or more footage
Thanks! It would be epic, I don't want to promise anything yet, music is my hobby and such projects take time. I have always more ideas than space for making them happen lol :)
Man this is so amazing on every level, I adore how the guitar just blends into the synths, except for when its out of key, but even then it feels right somehow as you instantly save it and bring it back in key! Keep it up!!
Thanks so much, made my day! If you want I can share the settings for the Korg NTS-1 FX as I think that was main reason for sounding good. (there was a bit of ensemble effect, high pass delay and a lot of hall reverb). My guitar has old strings and doesn't sound very well on its own. My plaing was indeed a bit sloppy, but there are no wrong notes, just bad recoveries. :)
Hello. Did you record and route acoustic guitar with recorder live or process it during mix?
Hi! I've recorded guitar live directly to Tascam Model 12 (my main mixer). I plugged audio out (monitoring) from Zoom H4N Pro to submixer (Bast Dude) and then to Korg NTS-1 for effects, then to Model 12. I usually don't process my jams in post if not necesarry (sometimes maybe bit of EQ if I get bass levels wrong). Considering buying DI box and plugging condenser mic thru NTS-1. It really sounds good, was impressed by clarity even for accoustic sounds. Another option would be plug the mic directly to Model 12, but its effects don't impress me (I use some of them for drum parts tho).
@kayacura.music1 Thanks for your answer. I would like to mix acoustic instruments on electronic background but yet haven't found a context. After i saw your setup, i tried to use my recorder (tascam dr44wl) same way. Yes, it sounds better than jack outputs.
@@alikecelioglu1109 Yeah, I!m finding it pretty tricky to mix synth/complex sounds with accoustic - or even worse electro-accoustic sound from like piezzo pick-ups and digital pianos). Sometimes I feel that the rich harmonics "eat" some crucial frequencies and make sounds of instruments weird/dull. I think that one option is having some kind of sidechain compression going on, but it's tricky outside of DAW. Never really got into this kind of dynamic mixing as it needs much more HW.
@@kayacura.music1 I guess, Arrangement is the key. Yes, electronic setup is dominant and energetic. But sometimes i need acoustic fretboard to improvise. I couldn't arrange it yet.
Thank you
Amazing, floating on ocean waves ❤❤. Guitar work is beautiful man.
Thanks for kind words! I've checked some of the videos you have posted. What kind of app do you recommend for iPad? I borrowed iPad Air from my colleague to give it a try. Tried Koala Sampler (the basic version) and about to try Cubasis (I have Cubase on my PC, so should be easy learn). Thanks a lot.
@ for live work and as a great interface between apps get AUM. It’s like a mixer for sound and midi. It can also record too. It what I was using in the last video.
@@SěmtêxČØŴv2.0 Great I'll give it a try, thanks a lot
Awesome, always a treat when you drop a new tune. Hope you’re good man 🙏.
Thanks for kind words! I'm good here!
Well... That's good for a first time !
Very cool, brother
Mohl bys do toho přidat zvuk třískání mečů?
:D To by bylo srandovní!
Dude ❤️🤯 That sound is so epic, under your fingers anyway 😂
It does! The sound coming from the pipes is just massive plus the reverb from the huge room. Hard to translate thru recording, even if I tried to EQ it in post. I brought just my little field recorder from Zoom. To catch the "body" of the organ, it would need more mics and place them in 3D, I suppose.
@ yeah I was thinking that too. But it sounds awesome, and you make it shine.
@@SěmtêxČØŴv2.0 Glad you like it! I wasn't even sure if I want to record anything. I was just messing around. But you know, my chanel is not about finished and produced stuff It's more about sharing excitement for creating and exploring music.
@@kayacura.music1 I should listen to your words my friend 👍
Oh yes yes yes man. Now WE are Brothers.
Nice to see you around brother, always happy listening your jams!
Awesome dude, sounded great to my ears. Have you thought of using an iPad for sequencing if you have one? A lot of the high quality sequencers are now available on iOS for 1/4 the price of desktop.
Cheers! I've not tried to use one, as I don't own one. I might give it a try as we have couple of them at work (I work in primary school and we use them for some basic music creations). I just can't find time and resources to try new workflows. Thanks for ideas!
@@kayacura.music1 I’m putting my studio back together right now. Do a little demo soon.
@@SěmtêxČØŴv2.0 awesome!
Great session!
Means a lot to me! Cheers.
That was great! I have a couple of keysteps and they seem to have memory lapses from time to time..
Good to know, thanks. I've had mine for years and never had problems. Would be a deal braker for live performance tho. :/
This was Awesome!!!!.... Can You keep us up to date on the Keystep Issues.....just curious. YOU ROCK BRO!!!!!
Thanks a lot! I'm happy you like it. I had three melody patterns saved which kind of evolved the tune to more song-like track. It just didn't remember one of them everytime when switching in between. Not sure what's wrong, hope it's not the memory chip and it's just firmware issue or sth. Will post an update once I figure it out. Well, I was thinging of getting some kind of MIDI brain as Keystep Pro or MPC anyway. Beatstep Pro is cool, but it can't play chords so I use it just for drums and basslines. Cheers.
Super 👍👍👍
Got me grooving man 🤘🤘🤘🤘🙏

Thanks for nice words!
Are you near Nashville?
not really, central Europe
😀😀
Sweet vibes, and I’ll raise you a glass to second chances man 🍻
SOLID!!.....Good Timing......what is driving the Beat...."drums"?
Drums are from Roland TR-8 (mostly 909 sounds). Kick and snare have a little bit of compression. The rest (hi-hats, hand clap, etc) goes through delay and for some parts of the track little bit of bitcrush to give it more texture (Zoom 70CDR) and then little bit of reverb on the mixer. There's a one cymbal and "hit" sound coming from Volca Sample with more reverb on it. All sequenced from Beatstep Pro. Hope it answers your question.
@@kayacura.music1 BRAVO!!!
Awesome dude 🤘🤘
Very inspiring, love the mood and the progression 👌

P.s. absolutely love the change and the minimalistic haunting sounds.
Very very smooth. Makes me wish I knew a hell of a lot more with th kind of equipment!!! Any tips are welcome for a fella who just uses garageband and has no idea what hes doing interms of (right things to buy and how to use)... anyway great stuff!
Hey! Thanks for tuning in! I remember starting with Cubase and playing tones on laptop keyboard. You can start with anything really. If you already have a computer, I would recommend buying a midi controler (Arturia Keystep or similar with in built sequencer). I made a lot of tracks with this combo.
Sweet!
