I faced similar issue when I buy locally in Bangalore. The moss used to have twigs and to much of dust….. Now I am buying from various insta sellers from Kerala and northeast…. When you buy from insta sellers you can ask for videos and pics of moss to check the quality or buy a lesser quantity moss to check the quality. This way you can avoid buying poor quality moss. I am getting a decent to good quality moss from insta sellers but if you wana buy AAA grade best sphagnum moss it’s still on the expensive side and I won’t suggest it. PVC sheet will be used to cover the gates and Grills . I used to see this sheet several hardware stores in Bangalore. It will hardly cost you 120 to 200 rs, with that you can make upto 2 to 3 Moss poles. I can understand the difficulties, once you get supplies it will be pretty much easy to set them up. I've had similar experiences as well. I've visited 8 hardware stores yesterday (sunday) to get the PVC sheet. I showed them the screenshot and none of them had it. @Guru - could you please share the hardware contact number or provide links for online buy? Thanks.

If you have anthuriums and aeroids plants go with osmocote. I will post a video on osmocote soon

For Calathea and Aglonema I am still testing with the fert granules. For Phylos go with osmocote especially the Thailand one which is giving very good results

Few sellers are not comfortable in sharing the contact details directly. they wanted the buyers to reach out to them via Insta and once purchased they add their customer number to WhatsApp group for regular stock updates and details. Since most of the plants sold in Insta are exotic they tend to clear the stock faster.

I have struggled a bit to get the exotic plants and related supplies initially. So I want to share the details whatever I have so that the subscribers can get the exotic plants hustle free :) Hope this helps

Yes Nagaland has many foliage plant sellers who sells exotic plants in a affordable price. Their environment and habitat supports rare foliage and flowering plants. Hence they are reproducing plants in bulk/purchasing and selling it for affordable price.
