How to cut and fit PVC trunking to help protect cables and wires from small pets 🐇
I will be showing you how I cut, filed and fitted a piece of PVC trunking to try and help protect my cables and wires from the rabbit. The same method could be used for any small pets such as guinea pigs, gerbils and chinchillas.
I purchased the trunking from Wickes and managed to complete the whole project with just a tape measure, combination square, a pencil and a hack saw.
This won't be the only method of protecting your valuable cables and wires but it is the option I chose. Hopefully it will give the cable a bit of defence against my naughty rabbit.
Thanks for watching and good luck with your DIY projects.

omg i was going to screw it to the wall lmao Didn’t realise there was adhesive 😅 Your video saved me (and my wall) 😂
I hope this is not an electrical engineering class😅you wont be awarded any mark😂
Brilliant bro // how do u do the bit u left on the Ben's that's what I want to know
what the fuck is that, why not just ducktaping the wire to the wall if you don't want to spend the time being precise!
That was a classic example of a basic DIY job done with very little thought and attention to detail but well done for thinking about finding a solution to your problem. Maybe it's not of UA-cams greatest "How to ' videos, but we all love a trier.
Helpful thank you
"From a naughty little bugger like that" haha, love it
Oh, that's massacre. 😳 Dude... have you heard about plastic cutter, or even right angle? I highly appreciate handyman videos, but you should actually know something about the subject, otherwise you are just misleading people searching for "how to" videos... 🧐
What is a plastic cutter? I am new to DIY hence on UA-cam.
Thanks
Great video, Simple, informative & friendly. I would advise one thing though - wipe the area it's sticking to down with bleach or cleaner. This will ensure a good airtight fit which will bond to the wall surface better and not 'shell' when an as it gets older. 10/10 & 5 * of these!
Great video, and really helpful! Whilst it definitely isn't the cleanest work on earth, it covers some of the basics which for a beginner like me is really helpful! Thanks a lot!
You're sloppy dude, do you believe in corner cuts?
Tin Snips
but why is it so tight when I want to take off.aaarrrggghh
Is that mini trunking, mate, or another size?
I would of cut 45degree angles there. Lift the bottom trunk and avoid that awkward angle going on into the heater .
Exactly!
