Remove/Edit Leaking LSV Load Sensing Valve or Proportioning Valve 2001 Pathfinder
I have a leaking LSV Load Sensing Valve in brake lines of 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. With this older vehicle and expensive OEM parts, rather than replace the LSV or proportioning valve, I chose to remove / edit the OEM part and I found best to replace with a block/tee flared fitting augmented with a manual hydraulic valve to proportion the braking power between front and rear brakes.

Diagnose Codes and Replace Repair Bad PCB Control Board in GE Dishwasher
Переглядів 35 тис.5 років тому
I have a GE dishwasher that had a bad PCB printed circuit board (motherboard/control board) and I ran tests, ordered and replaced the board. This video does not cover disassembly because you can find that elsewhere for your make/model. But I do show how to navigate consumer error mode, service mode, and the service LED on the main control board to get clues on which board could be failing / bad...

Well Point Clogged or Dirty with Sand and Sediment and Reduced Well Water Flow or Volume

This is a well point from the end of the well drive pipe about 24 feet deep after it was clogged with sand and sediment after many years. I had noticeable cloudy water from sand and sediment and prohibitively reduced water volume or water flow from the well even thought there were no apparent changes to the water source or surroundings. I have other videos where I pulled the well point with com...
How to Pull a Well Pipe and Well Point using only Hand Tools and Hoist Pulley
Переглядів 42 тис.6 років тому
I pulled my 20 foot well pipe (24 foot well) to change a clogged well point after getting cloudy well water and reduced well water flow. I was able to use only hand tools and a hoist pulley with pipe fittings and adjusting rigs. Disclaimer: One must be cautious because at times excessive tension could cause equipment failure or cause bodily injury.

Can you update with a diagram how you installed the valve
This is so wonderful! I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but this video is too notch with info. Thank you so much.
Do you have a video on how to replace and parts used?
You might not have the answer but my model doesn’t have these hot cold indicators. Do I just have to make sure I plug in the 12 V the right way?
My 1st Igloo 18 can 12v cooler was about $68.99 and lasted 15 years - Igloo stop making it and had to buy a bigger one for twice the money and the POS didn't last 5 years - Not the same quality of Yesteryear - I got a RoadPro 12v bag this time for half the money - So far so good 🤞
what if my light is flashing fast many times.
I wish someone would go over how to remove poison ivy from shoes. I'm going to try pouring alcohol on them and letting them dry, then probably going to throw them in wash machine on a low tumble. It keeps transferring to my ankles and lower legs. I stopped wearing those shoes and it went away but I would like to keep using them for yard work in the warmer weather, instead of throwing them out.
That's what I'm looking for also. Did you find any answers?
New shoes...it's the only solution I found. You can try washing them in Hot washer with dish soap, but it's only moderately effective.
Tyyyyyy❤
This gave me the information I needed. Thank you! Portable GE dishwasher
What is the identifying info or part number of the Peltier Chip?
I thought my code was Fed but it might be Ftd (failure to drain)
Where did you get this sheet?
It is under the front behind the panel (kick panel) under the door- take out the two little screws, then look on the left side - folded into a 2” square tucked on the side by the foot
@@earthn1447 Thanks, I think mine was taken.
fuuuuuu k summer time ground hard / spring ground wet soft I got a 2" pipe in solid ground already ripped up 1/4 metal & 18" pipe wrench

Great job, we are in the process of pulling our deep well pump in AZ. 600' yeah, our water is deep. I'm thinking of posting a video on The Arizona Outriders. There are a few off roaders who have stolen my name, but search and you will find. Give me a few days after Sept 4 2022
Thanks for the video. I took mine apart to change the thermal grease. There is a thick black sealer between the peltier cooler and the body of the cooler. Anyone have any recommendation on what to use as a replacement when I put it back?
How do i find Service Diagnostic Sheet. nothing that i can find under machine. Please help?
I have a 72' well that hasn't been used in 30 years. Want to get it working. 2" galvanized with a 1 1/4 intake line. Thinking check valve may need replacement but now, after watching your video, point may be rusted out as well. Should I just hook up a jet pump and see what happens? Need to pull intake and replace check valve? Rust and corrosion ruined the whole thing? Thoughts anyone?
Try the jet pump. You might get lucky. We had a similar situation and it worked fine. Pulling all that stuff out is a pain
@@wildswan221 Thanks! I've pulled the check valves before and it is a lot of toil and sweat. I'm gonna try setting up the pump and see what happens. Like you said, maybe I'll get lucky! Thanks again!!
Where can i get the replacent motor that. Has a shaft in each end? Coleman. No longer. Has the.

could someone possibly send a link or a screen shot of the service diagnostic sheet ? I have the manual but the diagnostic sheet in nowhere to be found.
I found this one but it wasn’t my exact model but it was close enough, it might work www.applianceaid.com/pdf/31_9253.pdf
My well have a house like it inside a little house it not in open air outside
Yes I am been looking for a video like your thanks you very much
On mine the door controls are dead ,nothing. the main control board led is flashing so fast the light just dims a little, any help please
I dont have the foam on the outside fan, does it matter
You can wire it directly into the thermostat , you can wire to the furnace board
That's what I want to do! But it seems like a difficult task.
Do you know what that little thing attached to the peltier is? It's covered in black goo. Right next to the module by the heat sink. I just replaced mine but the new one didn't have it. Should I use that with the new one or toss it? Thanks
Hi. I replaced my Peltier module and it gets hot/cold...but it still doesn't cool the cooler? Any ideas why? I used the thermo-grease, but maybe it was too thick?
GE make a piece of crap. I paid 800 for this piece of junk. I have had nothing but problems. Changed board, upper board is also bad. My old dishwasher was 12 yrs old. Never had ptoblems other than maintainece. GE sells crap, dont waist your money.
Brilliant !! just fixed my Mitsi L300 with same issue. many thanks.
What if you get no lights up on top at all, I did confirm I am getting 115v up to the top of the door.
Please which direction is the inner and outer fan turning?, Clockwise or anti clock?. Thank you
Mow powa baby!
Thanks for sharing this video. Very helpful. I have a different GE model GDF620HSJ6SS and have a similar sheet of error codes and things to check. In my case, all of the control panel lights suddenly went off and no combination of pushing buttons simultaneously has any effect on the dishwasher, it’s like it’s dead :( so I called for service. The technician checked the washer and concluded that either the main control board or User Interface (UI) board is bad and advised me to just get a new dishwasher because the replacement boards work for a few weeks and quit ! Now after watching this video, I’m motivated to check the main control board and see if there’s any sign of life, I don’t believe in simply discarding a 3 year old $700 appliance without a bit of a fight!
My dishwasher has a problem where the top panel lights and controls stopped working. The main board has 120 volts power going in and it has a steady green light. It also has the 13.5 volts DC current going out to the top control board . I am still trying to get an answer on the correct part needed but I think it might be the top board.
Did you get your GE dishwasher going? We have same problem! UHG
Well that 30 mins of my life wasted, I just wanted to know why my plugs not working, didn't need to know your beer story.
How did it work?
My bottom circuit board solid green, bottom of machine controller board. But my buttons don’t ON. No power to up buttons, which board is dead? Top one buttons or controller?
Can't believe 25% of people who viewed this find it bad - I mean, if you don't like it, don't bother rating it and make your own and see if it's any better! Good job Howie.
Great camera work, very informative video. Thank you!!!
I have this one. I was told that i needed to put a bag if ice or frozen water bottles in order to cool. Is that true or is this supposed to get cold without any ice in it?
The service LED light on my GE model GDT695SGJBB is solid green wether the door is open or closed so I bought and replaced the UI board (WD21X23463). It did not fix the issue. The issue being, no lights or functionality of the UI touchpad. Dishwasher is not working at all. Can you help?
So if that didn't work, guessing it was the bottom one that needed replaced. Did you ever figure it out?
@@nobodycares2354 it turns out that it was the top interface board. It needed to be programmed. I ended up having to call a technician to program the board I had installed.
@@hotrolls3473 Yes I believe there are a few jumpers in a row that need to be placed in the right position (jumpered or not jumpered) although according to what you wrote it sounded as though the bottom control was defective> depending on the model the green led lite should be a steady flash or a double time flash (where the control PCB is square shaped)
@@spookville6632 The board manufacturer did not install the jumpers during manufacturing. In addition, my board needed a software update so I had to call a technician who plugged into my board and installed the update.
I see several people have the same problem I have and that is getting the service diagnostic sheet. Where did you get those. I called GE, emailed them etc and they say they don't have them, so I am wondering how you got them? Please reply.
Hey Judy, I found my service diagnostic sheet tucked into the left foot of the dishwasher, it was visible after removing the kick plate. Apparently the manufacturer places it there.
howie thank you so much
Good information
Okay so where do I find the video where you put it back in
How can I get a replacement sheet like that?
I have the GE GDT680 model. My heating element is not working. I replaced the element, but that was not it. The user interface board they sent me has a "personality jumper" that has to be configured. I ran the test you showed by holding down the cycle and start. They all blinked and the only ones left on were the "autosense" and "lock controls". What does that mean? Also, do you know how to set the jumper on the new board? It's Christmas eve and I could sure use the dishwasher... ;)
Interesting both heatsinks are the same size. The cold side is usually much smaller than the hot side.
I want to install a duct fan since one of my bedroom get less cold than the other one can you direct me how should I wire it Thank you!
Thank you for sharing! Very helpful. For some reason when I am ready to wash and push the start button after a few seconds I get a beep and the light on the front blinks and no start. I don't know what the blinking light on front door means. Do you? Thanks!
