The beginning of our comedy routine in the movie "Ripperman" unfortunately this was the only part I got. Chuck Norris's son Mike was the star in this.Timothy Bottoms,Charles Napier and other great actors were in it. the fabulous Sanford Hampton produced it.such a cool time for us. we even got our own trailer. you can still rent it at blockbuster. hehe.

Bob,(my bro) and I put together a show with the fabulous Bobby Hatfield to perform at several concerts in 1979. this was a rehearsal tape of Hatfields rendition of you've lost that Loven Feeling. Bobby was such a special Guy. Probably the funniest guy I've met. Also what a wonderful artist. he could draw anything. He is surely missed!

If I sang at my wedding the guests would be knocking each other to get out
Sit down music , my last comment of the day on your unique and like yourself dated take on musical taste.Keep going, we need quality music to raise the bar in this very mundane even banal musical period.Peoplebthat can actually sing and play their instruments.......who would have believed it ! PUC.
Questionable choice of fashion wear but no doubt the quality of the music and presentation.Wishing you many more years of making quality music, definitely not my genre but the dedication to as near perfection as possible is right up my street .Hope you are recording artistes because l am now on the look out in the small backwater that is England.Well done lads. Puc.
BH had a beautiful voice but as l said in another coment the two backing lads did a sterling job of making it a well rounded recording. Its a pity they have to pass but those that are left still make incredible music.l wish the twins the very best because l think they and Bobby gave of their best.May your gods go with you.Puc.....very enjoyable.
Bobby Hatfield was and still my crush❤
What a fantastic version,at least as good as the version we all know and love.BH was and always will be the singers singer but more than ably supported by the JB,s.
@@waynemoreton7705 wow, such kind words! Thanks so much. He left us Way too early. Also he was probably the funniest guy we've ever met. Also you can't believe what a great artist he was. We had alot of pics he did unfortunately Bobby, My bro, left them all in a suitcase under the garage where a bunch of spiders ate everything in it...
You all made such beautiful music ,so much so that l will try and research your body of work and catch up on your careers. All very good on the ears, cant say that on the latest crop of so called entertainers.Puc, England.

Miss yall. Come up to Portland sometime.
Great to see you guys still playing. You haven't changed a bit. Wish I was there. Haven't played out in a long while.
Ed to you happen to have a video of Bobby singing this song. I would love to see him sing his fabulous ending to this great song. Also do you have a video or even audio of him singing The National Anthem?

@@edjohnson465 me too. I never had the honor of meeting him but I've always felt like he was like an uncle to me. I've been listening to and watching him for the last 50 years. I first heard him when I was only 6 years old. I've grown up listening to that heavenly voice.
Great to hear you guys again. Been thinking about the old days. Hope all is well with you. We are in Portland to be closer to our kids and grand babies. Thinking about days of yore.

Cool tribute to the Righteous Brothers.
@@Judy-mf5cw thanks so much Judy!
Every song Bobby sang was beautiful, such a beautiful voice and so handsome. 🥰
Give as much credit to the two voices backing Bobby, very harmonious and melodious. Not easy , in my humble opinion to compliment the lead vocals so proffessionally.Bobby may have been the cream but the brothers certainly whipped that cream into a great performance.l am greatly impressed , that in itself is impressive as l am the original Victor Meldew!
👍😊❤
Als Bobby später das Kokain jahrelang nahm, was ihn später umbrachte hatte er wohl keinen richtigen Bezug zu seiner Familie, er fand in ihr keinen Halt.😢
What in the hell nonsense are you babbling about. Please keep your fantasies to yourself. There's nothing that you said that has a connection to reality.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Bobby was a great family man. He died of 95% blockage. The miniscule amount found in his system is suspect. His family, Bill and his friends said they never saw him take anything. There was nothing found in his room.
@@spoodlew Drives me crazy that certain commenters repeat this type nonsense everywhere. What sad lives they most have! From what I can discern, he had a wonderful family life filled with great love.
@@Aurora-tp3dy It infuriates me. And yes, I believe from what I have seen and read, he was all about his family .
It's rude and unethical to try to start rumor stories. You don't know what you're talking about regarding Bobby Hatfield's health, death, life, and family.
Tim Morgon also sang two songs on Boss City one afternoon in 1966 or 1967. Titles were "A House Built on Sand" and "You'll Be Sorry." Tim Morgon was very popular in southern California at the time.
Thanks for that! Loved hearing Tim morgon the prison. He helped us in the beginning of our career.
Did any of Bobby's children inherit his beautiful voice? I know Bill's daughter is an incredible singer.
I don't think Vallen or Dustin sings but they do have his smart wit! Bobby was by far the funniest guy we've ever met. We would go back and forth on stupid funny stuff and he would always top us with a funnier capper! We probably did more laughing than rehearsing for all the concerts. Also a fabulous artist. Sure miss him.
Heck of a song to start off with!🤪
He was the best! Great singer, funniest guy I've met, fabulous artist.
I have searched YT for Bobby Hatfield Ebb Tide or Righteous Brothers Ebb Tide and this has never come up. Now it just popped up on my recommendations. I recall being a kid when my dad had the hit parade on, on Sundays and two of my favorite songs that I remembered were Ebb Tide and Unchained Melody and so I was tickled pink when Bobby sang them again in the mid 60s because they were his favorites songs as well. He got more attention (and live guest performances for Unchained Melody than for Ebb Tide so it's particularly good to hear this.
Thx so much, I sure miss him! Ps you did hear his unchained melody rehearsal right? He really was special!
Just having a doggone fun time! Oh to be able to see them perform in person….just one more time!!! Thank you for sharing this video.
I have watched this a dozen times. My favorite duo.
Yeah they were the best! Great people too!
Unlike the "Hatfields and the McCoys" the Hatfields and the Medleys harmonized real well...
Thank you. Do i hear Bobby say scumbag two times? Thanks for sharing these precious moments with Bobby..
Thank you Ed for sharing this extra special time with them for us to enjoy. It must have been a blessing to know them. Do you have any videos of them with the Paramours? I would love to see a video of Bobby singing "I need a girl". Thank you.
Ahh, the seventies hair and giant lapels.

Hi there, wow, stab in the past! What is your real name?. Thx for the letter!
@@edjohnson465 David LaDuke is my name. I just started Jr. High at Lathrop and was there for only a few months. But I remember you guys. We moved to Arkansas of all places. Schools were still segregated and smoking was allowed too if you can believe that. I just turned 13 years old and we were allowed to smoke cigarettes in a designated area on the school grounds during lunch and recess. Hope I didn't go into too much detail but the move from S.Cal. to rural Arkansas was a huge culture shock and you guys were some of the last memories I have before the move. Best to you, Bob and Bob Gully.
Such a trip, my mom's from Paragould AR. Loved it there on our vacations. You made the right choice to move out of here. So cool to see ya from Lathrop.
