We had fun. But I think next year we should have a little more eggs for the little ones. My little one was pushed out of the way and only got 1 egg.

I have made two or three attempt to meet with the police chief and\or Mr. Fischer to discover what the plolicenare doing to strategize and STOP the almost nightly setoff of firecrackers in and around the 4200 block of 54th place without success. The police are ineffective in putting a stop to it and even less effective in responding to requests such as mine. I am considering other avenues to deal with this ineffectivity.

Can't wait till the next one. Hope the food will be good.

I've been a Bladensburg resident for 43 years ... I used to drive by it every Saturday when I went to Burger King in Colmar Manor for lunch as a 8 year old child. And then we'd go to the purple heart and then we'd go to the library.

This was an awesome event. I think we should do something like this for Christmas again. It was so much fun.

This event was awesome. My children and I had a great time. Wish we would have stayed longer didn't know there were going to be more things.

This was a touching video and very well put together. I am glad to call Bladensburg my home. I've lived in this community for 43 years. And I am so happy to see my community come together. And Bladensburg cares about their community and residents. My family and I had a blast at the trunk or treat last night. My children are proud to be Bladensburg Elementary Bulldogs and I am a strong Bladensburg High Mustang.

I guess the fireworks will be last on the list, so 9ish pm?

Thanks Mayor James for the information. Got out the forms to opposed the train that will take property and assess to our community. I opposed this action of the power of money that doesn't help our communities as it will only be for rich people.

Thanks for sharing this video. I’m definitely not supporting the construction of the train.
