when i first pulled the latch there was a sound but it didnt pop up. i cant even lift the hood up after pulling the lever and ever since the last pull, there is no sound indication that its working

Seat sits a tick high but the pilot is roughly 6 ft, the video was with a GoPro which had a wide angle view. Flaps are enormous on this plane.

The ailerons look reflexed?

Is the pilot a tall dude? His normal line of sight seems level with the centre of the wings? Edit: OK, had another look, not that high but higher than normal i would think?

Yes, mounted to the tank cover. Any mounting to your body is much much better.

Is your case mounted on the stem? I tested this case mounted on my gas tank, but there is too much vibration at 75 mph and above. I haven't tried the helmet mount yet.
