Dank je wel voor dit. Ik heb tranen in de ogen en kan mijn emoties nauwelijks bedwingen. Mijn "kinderen" (het blijven je kids) zijn nu al lang en breed volwassen en "uitgezworven". Dit was het lied dat ik in hun kindertijd steevast voor het naar bed gaan toe zong. Ik was altijd van mening dat het slechts drie coupletten had. Dank je wel voor de volledig tekst.

Prachtig, zou je ook eens ritmische psalmen willen zingen uit de oude berijming met piano? Ik vind het jammer dat je alleen keuze hebt uit oude berijmde versies met orgel (en dus niet piano, en de meeste samenzang en niet solo) of je komt bij psalmen voor nu oid uit, terwijl ik die oude berijming teksten juist zo mooi vindt

Marjolein! Many beautiful songs are not religious ! Many great composers like Bach, Mozart etc wrote compositions simply because the churches were rich and they were well paid for it! Mozart for instance was a Free Mason and Free Masons are not a religion orginization! I pray each night for myself and my friends and family but I rarely go to church- Only if a great organist like Gert was playing or maybe a famous orchestra! I would love to hear you and Gert sing many of the great musical songs of the past! You should come to Scotland and you both would be very welcome a our whiskey is also very good!🎼Fraser❤
