Why are people holding Luigi Mangione up as a hero?
In this episode, we discuss the recent murder of a UnitedHealthcare CEO. We examine the circumstances surrounding the crime, including the suspect-identified as Luigi Mangione-being on the run and later found in a Pennsylvania McDonald’s.
We also explore the disturbing reactions from certain online communities, where some individuals have framed the killer as a “hero” striking back against the for-profit healthcare system. The conversation delves into the broader frustration many feel toward corporate healthcare practices, such as denied claims and profit-driven policies, and the moral and societal implications of these issues. However, we make it clear that violence and murder are never acceptable forms of protest, and we question the mental health and rationale behind both the suspect and those applauding his actions.
Additionally, we reflect on whether this incident might represent a tipping point in public sentiment toward corporate entities, debate the effectiveness of resorting to violence, and underscore the importance of genuine policy reform and constructive dialogue over destructive acts.

ok if he is talking about kids in high school learning purely about sex ed then yes I agree with him. If he is talking about all of the LBGT bullshit then yah leave that out of sex ed.
It was just an article about a civil rights icon and gay rights activist that was used for a grammar lesson. It wasn’t about taking sex ed or gender.
9th grade in my opinion is the grade these things should be allowed. Any younger and its digusting
It was just an article about a civil rights icon and gay rights activist that was used for a grammar lesson. It wasn’t about taking sex ed or gender.
@nuanceshow hmm then it wouldn't matter
Kind of missed the point, bald guy. Basic sex ed does not involve sexual fetishes or descriptions of how to perform sexual acts. On a separate point, do you really want to put the gov't in charge of teaching kids about this? If you say yes, remember that once given away, the only way to retrieve power from the gov't is usually bloody and massively destructive.

Her performance absolutely brought a negative spectacle to it.
Yes. I agree on banning cars altogether.
Is that realistic?
Honestly they should just have a flat 10 year limit.
Why 10? Biden proposed 18 but some people say 4.
Yes

I was at this comedy show a few weeks ago too. That walkout was crazy 😂I also questioned whether he was a plant too though. The jokes about the guy afterwards were mad funny too lol overall it was a great show!
Wouldn’t it be so disappointing if Dave had plants like that?
@@nuanceshow it really would be!
I enjoyed that show! What about that same guy trying to bully security in the back because he towed over them. He and his crew were larger sized and disruptive... Until Hard Rock dispatched their giant security force... They calmed down and we're escorted out of the hall. What about the man Dave C. brought to front section, the drink, the toast, etc. That was awesome! No mention of that . The pouches were provided by YONDR. Think about it, copyright protection and having the material leaked. Other major artist do the same thing. I watched both shows. 💯💪🏾 It was cool seeing him in person! He's genuinely funny and talented!
Can Biden order the prosecution of Clarence Thomas for bribery?
No he couldn’t. The DOJ would have to bring forth action or a member of Congress could file articles of impeachment. Representative Ocasio-Cortez filed articles of impeachment recently against Thomas and Alito.
Democratic Party, the Last Great Plantation. Using their anti-USA policies to Enslave more Americans daily.
Do you speaka English , or are you slow ? Black jobs or was it jobs for blacks leading to the lowest black unemployment ? Don't be ignorant !
You need a change, a change in The leadership and governance to help America grow well and gains respect again from others.
We have that now. We don't need to go backwards.
People are voting for Trump because we are sick of high prices, illegal immigrants and wars
He won't reduce prices or stop the wars. He can sign immigration bills but he didn't stop it in his first term. Are you not concerned about his lack of respect for the Constitution?
Trump will allow American natural gas drilling, which has been largely reduced since Biden took office. Cheaper gas means prices on store shelves will not rise as quickly. In this economy, everything must be shipped, so the price of gas affects everything. Inflation is a big issue right now and having cheap energy will help a lot of people. Russia’s budget relies on selling oil. If the price of oil is low, which happens when supply increases, then Russia will not be able to afford this war. Pumping oil in the US is a non-violent means to ending Russian aggression. The same thing applies to Iran and Venezuela, who are both oil-rich. So yes, I think Trump will go a long way in stopping wars and helping the economy.
Your full of shit you all stole it lies and treason and were a fucking tepublic

I'm so tired of these racist elites and there complete hatred of our once great country. We need to stand as one and get them out of office.TEAM HUMANITY.

The United States should end military aid to Israel. 1. Military Aid to Israel is unnecessary. Israel is a very prosperous country and more than capable of paying for its own military. 2.Military aid to Israel is a security risk to the United States. Israel has been selling American developed military technology to China for more than a decade. These sales have been instrumental in the modernization of China's military. 3.Military aid to Israel is a diplomatic liability, 4, Military aid to Israel is illegal under American law. Israel's human rights violations disqualify Israel from receiving military aid under the Leahy law and Israel's refusal to allow inspections of its nuclear sites or sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty makes any aid to Israel illegal under the Symington Amendment.
No that's not their responsibility if you need advice go see a lawyer
That's one way to look at it.
The Mayor in no way know more people in the city than the residents know in their own communities. Just stop violating peoples rights and enforce actual Laws.
Fuck no 😂 I would say 13 and over is how it should be and literally how it is within the TOS of every social media, and besides we ain't parents not our decision, it should be up to the parents 😂
And if they have to get ID to open accounts that would mean they would have to get ID from everyone, even adults or they won't know who is signing up.
No. Because states cannot grant any kind of citizenship or resident status protectable throughout the United States. If states want to "enforce" immigration law via arresting and deporting people, then said states should be required to perform ALL functions of immigration law and residency requirement. This means having to accept applications for migrant, refugee, asylum status. This means having their own dedicated infrastructure to process said claims and having dedicated judicial and administrative systems SUBJECT TO FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAW when making decisions. And no state that siding with Paxton or DeSantis is ever going to go through all of that when it is just easier to kneecap any solution offered by Washington, D.C. and play "Tough Guy Jerkface" to people looking for work.
Good point. They want to pick and choose responsibilities it seems. I would think that as much as the conservatives in Texas have talked about cessation, some might be open to it though if they could be their own country.
No. This shit is illegal, also the 10th amendment is a mistake.
Texas needs to be told that it's illegal. Why do you think the 10th amendment is a mistake?

The civil war was NOT about slavery. Why is that so hard to recognize?
How do you figure that? There are even Confederate documents that talk about slavery specifically.
call her by her real name.
She's been using Nikki her whole life. Is that not her name as well?
It was about slavery and it was the Republicans that ended it.
This is generally true. It is necessary to note that the Republican party of then is not the same of today. The parties underwent a long transformation that essentially saw them flip.
Slavery was the catalyst that lead to the " states rights to have slavery" being a major cause. Civil War was over states rights..slavery was wrong and and it should have went to a vote of the states to ammendment the constitution but it went to war nstead..
I'd almost agree but I'd disagree with categorizing the cause as being over "states rights" since the right was almost exclusively that of maintaining slavery. It was even noted in several of the documents of cessation from many of the states. Why is it so hard to admit definitively that that was the cause?
How was the CW started because of Slavery when both North and South had slaves? My ancestors would not have fought for 1% right of the population to own slaves. These people are idiots.
She was correct.
How do you figure that? There are even Confederate documents that talk about slavery specifically.
@@nuanceshowslavery was not the big issue,it was minor in the beginning. But as it came time for the north to NEED the colored men to fight the issue was pushed. Maybe you should read a history book instead of asking everyone on the thread the same stupid question
@@marfloaf I'm asking the same question because you are factually incorrect but I want to hear your justification for your incorrect answer to give you a chance to defend your comment. There aren't any legitimate history books that dispute that the Civil War was because of slavery.
@@nuanceshow you are only looking at things that push your narrative. Nice try. Hell my 8th grade history book was even clear on the subject. Were you home school or something? It's common knowledge.
@@marfloaf You are speaking in hyperbole because I would bet money you don't remember what your 8th grade history book actually said. We can look at real sources. The Confederates themselves said it was over slavery, even in many secession documents. Why does that fact bother you?
Thought slavery was brought into view at the end of that war so the union could win
Slavery was explicitly mentioned in the declarations of secession of several Southern states. It was the central reason for the war from the beginning.
Because its not
The war started over politics and land . Slavery came into the picture about middle way of the war cause of Abraham Lincoln.
How do you figure that? There are even Confederate documents that talk about slavery specifically.
@@nuanceshow well yeah there will be documents about slavery but the fact and you can look it up is that the civil war didn't begin because of slavery. Slavery issue came into the picture when Lincoln was up for reelection. Also the wanted to free the slaves so they could serve in the union army . Some slaves were even promised freedom if they serve in the army .
@@jimblevin1415 That's partially true with some Black people serving in the army. However, the war started in 1861 and the Emancipation Proclamation wasn't until 1863. The war was already going on. Those secessionist documents citing slavery had already been issued years earlier. That's because slavery was the main reason behind the Civil War and the Southern states wanting to leave the union. They wanted to keep enslaving people.
