Thanks, Jeff. So this was done with a Boss RC300. I've got an updated version performed with a Boss RC600 as well. A few changes to the sound, loops, and arrangement: ua-cam.com/video/aLdWBHpo9WE/v-deo.htmlsi=t4BgJjgeqOe8IRcn I own a VE8 as well (for gigs where my whole pedalboard is not practical) and its looper is rather basic. It's just one track, you can't "selectively" record vocals (if the mic is set to record, it will ALWAYS record) and it has no UNDO/REDO function (so you can't "peel off" an overdub layer). By comparison, this video has 3 separate tracks on the R300, along with a mic switcher (in/out of recording), and the newer one I linked above uses four tracks, along with a MIDI controller for the looper so I can have multiple functions occur simultaneously with one switch press. Two of the tracks record guitar, two of them record guitar + mic. I don't even know how I'd approach a song like December with the limitations of a VE8 without really simplifying what's recorded. That's not to say that you shouldn't try! I do some fairly basic looping with the VE8 but it's always fun and people still enjoy listening. Thanks for stopping by!

I wish I knew! This video is pretty old, and my gear has changed so much. I’m fairly certain that the chorus is actually the built-in chorus effect on a Boss RC300 loop station, and the reverb is probably an outboard unit; maybe a Nux Atlantic. Vocal reverb is likely from a TC Helicon Mic Mechanic pedal. But actual settings are a mystery at this point!
