6:15 this bird's elderly voice makes her song pretty good also i wonder if any of this show's songs are original or are existing songs used with permission by their original artists; the song in which louie introduces the band's members on the center stage is most likely original, although inspired by the opening song of the country bear jamboree show from disney world originally
I like this and it’s characters but sometimes when they move they gain a lot of momentum and it just doesn’t look right either way this show looks awesome
This is kinda Similar to the Country Bear Jamboree, but with birds.
The Country Bear Jamboree had many “knock-offs” such as this, the Longhorn revue, the Koala show in Australia, and even the Rockafire’s predecessor- the hard luck bears!
Whos that large bird on the far left in the thumbnail? She doesn't show up anywhere in the video. I'm guessing this was a prototype character?
That was concept art and they cut her out, they also cut out Benny Beak.
@@PasqAnimatronics Who's Benny Beak?
@@andygoldwoods170 He was meant to be a member of the Birdland band on the center stage but got cut from the concept
@@PasqAnimatronics Ah, I see. Thanks for the info!
@@andygoldwoods170 was it lil mukbank's wife?
5:43 when the bird that came out of the thingy above the middle stage said "OHHHH YEAAAAAH" i nearly died of laughter XDDDD
Where was this animatronic show? These animatronics are very expressive, especially for that time. I grew up with just the Chuck E Cheese animatronics. But, wow, these animatronics are very well done and are less clunky and robotic and more fluid. I wish there was a renaissance of this animatronic band trend now because with the technology we have now, these animatronics will look even better and would look impressive and like a 3D animated movie.
@ggamemaster1689 It was located on the S. S. Admiral Riverboat, which was an entertainment complex and stationary riverboat bought by Six Flags in the mid-to-late 1980s. S. S. Admiral then converted the River Revue into a casino in the early 1990s. Creative Presentations Incorporated manufactured these animatronics.
This animatronic show was on the S.S. Admiral
Hello, do you have video of the Renaissance Revue animatronic show that was at Lotte World? Thanks
did anyone knows what happened or the whereabouts of those animatronics right knows, because after the ss admiral was closed, their existence just disappeared and there was no news about them anymore, they seemed to just disappeared
The Scatbird is in someone’s house
@@PasqAnimatronics yeah, I also did see the photo of him, but I don't know the rest of the animatronics whereabouts, I think they could be stored in some random place, or maybe even destroyed
@@MuhammadFadhilAzzuhdi Yep. It’s usually one or the other when shows like this close, or they get retrofitted. I think they just put them into storage and replaced it with something else until the Admiral closed though.
does anyone know who made these? i don’t think it’s a sally show.
It was Advanced Animations.
@@alonzoantonio9043 creative presentations actually
I wonder what happened to the figures
I’ve only seen a photo of the intact Scatbird.
At the long lost Admiral. I remember Wes working on the Louis Wails poster. Good times.
Ahhh Wes! What an amazing talent.
Hope you still do your Tex Ritter imitation. It was great!@@mdrisco
@@mdriscoDid you do the Tex Ritter imitation for the show Landmark did at Astroworld a few years before this one?
@@PasqAnimatronics I may have! I did a few of the recordings for some shows...my claim to fame! :)
great show tonight
Why do all the stages have amplifiers?
Because it’s a nice detail because Dominque and Charlie Shades both sing with microphones.
The Saint Louis River Revue is an udder ripoff of The Great Texas Longhorn Revue.
same designers.
@@iamsimplyjustalittleguy Wrong! They ripped off themselves!
@@CadyTheRobloxer basically, it’s the great texas longhorn revue, but instead of mostly cows/bulls playing country (with one early rock song) it’s birds playing jazz (with one country song)
@@iamsimplyjustalittleguy Bulls***!
Not funny😡@@CadyTheRobloxer
Thanks so much for posting! I remember seeing this several times in person....an expensive looking show with great production values! The Six Flags SS Admiral Entertainment Center wasn't open very long- opened March 1987 and closed for good in October 1987. 300,000 total attendance in 7 months; admission to the boat- $4.95 for adults, $2.95 for kids.

You magically like this show now

@@iamsimplyjustalittleguy I was worried about spelling it wrong.
So beautiful
thank you for posting this!
Did you record this before or after the show opened to the public? The show looks brand new here, although I’ve heard it was really short lived.
This was taken just after it opened.
@@CadyTheRobloxer Same design company
@@CadyTheRobloxer Both fun shows
St louis river review had a better soundtrack so I prefer it
I wonder what year this was filmed?
I believe I filmed it around 1986
@@mdrisco no wonder the lighting looks old
I never thought we get footage of this show but here we are this is awesome.
Thanks for posting! Ted King sent me the link.
You ever notice that the showtape is like the Great Texas Longhorns Revue?
@@cameronharrell3739 Yeah, this came a few years after Longhorn. Both shows had the same writers and such.
WOW! Would not mid hearing the original sounds with the video. Also, where am I?
Hello Mark. Do you know what company built the animatronic chefs in the Puro Food Machine? I know AVG made the Discovery Theater but I don’t think they did those chefs. Thank you for posting this video.
Sorry, but I don’t recall. It may have been a Japanese vendor.
Thanks, that’s quite possible. Do you know about the SS Admiral St. Louis River Revue Bird show? It was on a boat owned by Six Flags in St. Louis originally hence the name, but I heard it may have been resold to some Japan park. I thought maybe Sanrio bought it but I haven’t seen any trace of it.
@@PasqAnimatronics I am familiar with the SS Admiral. Landmark Entertainment Group worked with Six Flags on that project. I believe the boat was dismantled and sold for scrap 10-15 years ago
That's what I'm talking about
