Yeah...but the joke is ultimately on them. This happens a lot. You have a lot of very talented self-starting social media "creators" who get so desperate for clout and likes that they resort to shock content. The problem is they don't realize that this only gets in the way of their growth. These are very talented people who are in a niche part of social media now, but can very well "blow up" and get bigger deals on TV, movies, etc. and this will come back to haunt them. We've seen it happen with Trisha Paytas, Shane Dawson, pewDiePie, JeffreeStarr, etc. Despite being popular they will forever be stuck doing internet gags or being seen as a punchline because no one in Hollywood is going to want to deal with their mess. So they have to settle for cranking out shock content. Logan Paul is a good example. He tries and tries to branch out but his shock content comes back to bite him, so he's stuck in a very niche realm of Internet content creator and can't really branch out from that, at least not without his reputation overshadowing his talent/projects.
