LINKS BELOW!
Now that we are back in the Pacific Northwest, we have a lot of projects going on at the farm. Today I whipped up some shelf stops for the canning pantry. Both my clumsiness and potential for earthquakes can wreak havoc on canning jars, so now they are safe and secure!

mine was a jeep liberty but the linkage was the same and totally disconnected , thanks for the tip!
You could've put the transfer case in neutral. Then free wheel the driveshaft around.
Say a 2:1 setup with the snatch block say hooked onto a tree with a shackle and tree strap. The winch line itself would have 1/2 the speed and the force would be divided evenly amongst the two line direction. But wouldn’t the snatch block, shackle, and tree strap be experiencing the full 2x force?
Hi. Yesterday we headed to Sasco from Tucson. Once off the paved road, we came to the river crossing. One ATV made it across, but 2 pickup trucks decided they didn't want to risk it, so neither did we. Is there a way to reach Sasco coming from the other end of the loop, thus avoiding the river crossing? We checked several maps, but could not find an alternate back road, coming from Phoenix. Thanks.
Maybe you could identify where you locate the ring/block matters (on the load or at anchor)
Will it work to lift logs??? To build a house???or rafters?
Thanks for your valuable information amigo.
This happened to me right at the gas station. Watched this video and I just manually clicked it to Drive with somebody pressing on the brake. Drove home and fixed it there 🙌🏽 Thank you!
What if the bushings isn’t the problem. I already fixed that.
Nice!!! what is the weight of the rack?
How does it do with heat rejection and road noise?
Broski thank you for a great to the point video! After watching your video I was able to fix my Jeep in the parking lot of a 7-11. Well I placed the cable back in place until I got it home to do a correct fix.
Thank you! When refilling the coolant.. at the end.. how much should be put in.. fill up to the minimum line? Depending on how much was lost during the repair? I have a 2018.. I got the P0128 code .. obviously could be something simple as this hopefully not as severe. I get my engine oil changed regularly.. when I look at the contact it is below the minimum line not a lot.. doesn’t seem to be over heating or anything. As far as I can see I don’t see any external leaks.
Where did you hook up your ignition wire
I try to purchase a couple of this rings but your site wants me to install cookies NO CHOICE to opt out like others site so I guess I will by from other site
Can't wait to try out this trail. Doesn't look like one needs a huge lift to make it through. Great spotting!
Super helpful. We replaced it but it won’t stay into place and keeps disconnecting. Any suggestions?
So how is this holding up so far ? Any death wobbles, does the jeep feel tight ?
Which side was it underneath?
Driver's side
@@phillipmurphy4974 thanks i figured out a few days ago👍
@@stuntmandev2327 no problem. Seen the question. Heck I'm having to replace the upper bushing on the shifter now
@@phillipmurphy4974 smh i had a slightly hard time with the one underneath because of the skid plate
At 2:26 he says the pulley is pulling "down this direction". Doesn't he mean pulling up?
Excellent video and thank you
Are those the 10" or 12" tires?
Great video! I have a 2012 Wrangler Unlimited. It's not throwing a thermostat code, but it gets hot driving around. I was thinking thermostat replacement. Will there always be a code associated with a bad thermostat? I hate troubleshooting, so I bought a temp sensor as well. Please advise if you have time, thanks.
Thank you so much! You saved me so much time searching how to fix this issue!
Pretty cool, nice to see creative thinking not requiring a lot of money, THX!
Wow
I need visuals. Show this in action the whole thing not just close ups
Take a look at smarter everyday snatch block video
Great post, very honest and informative. Thank you. Cheers 🍻...
i have to say. you did a great job. i will do this in a few days.
So when you disconnect, what does one do to the sway bar? Just let it hang?
that creek is incredibly contaminated and I've had to try to warn kids twice to get out of it. once they were very small and sadly the parents didn't speak english
Thank You . saved the day .
Thanks friend
What a fucking pain n the ass this repair was..... I had to heat the bushing up a lil to get it to go in. I'll be cussing jeep for the next month.
I believe your single & double line pulls will require the same amount of force. Your three line pull will require ½ the force.
Update your links if you see this.. went to order and they aren’t there anymore 🇺🇸
I LIVED IN SIULVER BELL FROM 1954 TO 1959. MY DAD WORKED AT THE ASARO MINE AS A SUPERVISOR. WE MOVED THERE WHEN I WAS 6 YEARS OLD. I HAVE FOND MEMORIES AS A KID THERE WITH THE OTHER KIDS. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO.
It's great that you have personal history to share with the post. Someone mentioned West Avra Valley road as an alternative, but there was no mention about whether or not you would have to drive across the river. Thanks.
Did you connect the positive and neg directly to the battery??
Walcam to the Philippines sir your pradak I m a entirestied
Very good explanation!
mine did this today...put in drive to leave, had to put back in park to grab something, got back in to put in drive and nope lol. my bushing just crumbled when i touched it. still need to put the new one in
Nice vid and nice job!
Awesome video thanks buddy.
Thanks for the very helpful video. One step to I did to gain access to the cable was removing the 2 bolts that hold that cable bracket to frame. With shifter in Park, the cable dropped down for easy access to insert the bushing
Dust devils form when the the air on the surface on the earth are hotter than the surrounding air so it rises and the surrounding air fills in the air thats going up
Is the clearance of the shackle pin through the bumper lug critical ? I have several different shackles that seem too loose in the lug. I can’t find an exact fit. I would assume the better the pin fits, the more the load is better distributed in the lug, i.e., not concentrated in one area. Thanks
I have two Kawasaki MULE 610 XC’s. A 2012 and a 2013. They don’t get much use. However, they have the governed 400cc engine like this one. I have never had machines so reliable in my life. I have as much as put batteries in these UV’s and change the oil once a year. They are totally amazing.
Is the way the rack is secured to the cross rails safe with just those u bolts? Openroad didn’t send me u bolts with mine so I got some from the hardware store. Just want to make sure it’s not gonna fly off or rip the rails and cross bars off.
use glue dots (Zots) little dots of sticky rubber like the ones credit cards come with in the mail. Some headliners do not hold the velcro and need to be pinned in. these come in roll or sheet, used for posters etc.
