A Message from a Communications Major
Came here to say that buddy remix was rolling🔥♥️
I'm a comms major too and everyone thinks it's so cool. It's definitely not easy but it's so interesting I love it
That dog 💞
Engineering student studied my ass off, 4 year degree with 40% dropout rate, 29 contact hours per week, another 35 study hours per week, many extra hours completing Labs., 4x3 hour exams end of each semester and many mid semester exams, spent semester breaks learning tech/programming, 3 months of placement, 3 months extra on final project, no time for parties, graduated top 5% good a very good job - please don't tell me the party hard drunken hookup culture Social studies students now working as Barista's did "equally challenging" subjects.....
Gorgeous ❤
Communication degree is those ponzi scheme vibe. It because I have took it before as a class for general eds. It too easy and wasn't challenging. It mostly bunch of professor fantasize of becoming a biologist or other profession but don't have a work ethic to become them. It actually going be more harder at end and they paid less.
Agreed!
legit so adorable babe
Communicatations IS a useless major. What marketable skills are you learning from this major? NO ONE is looking to hire someone with a degree in communications. Save yourself the time and money and study something useful.
I love your perspective I hope you’re still making videos
hello fallon i hope you are fine. I am your subscriber I want to ask few things about communication please give me some precious time of yours.
Spoken like a true communications major.
like how the degree does not bind one to one field. here's the thing I went to school to learn a skill now your tell me you should have had skill and used communication enhance it. What I have learned from your video a degree is not the end all. You need to ways be gain new skills and network. Great video.
communications is a major?
Girl, I love how you talk, you kept me engaged all the video and thats not easy, I am going to study comm as well and you inspire me :)
You're amazing. Thank you for the information and insight you shared.
I love your mentality and your video i agree!
I am from Brazil and I am going to start my PhD in Comm at Northwestern this fall. I loved your channel ❤️
Hi! Fallon P. Hope you're well. Can I have your email address, please? I have a few questions regarding communication degrees.
You have a great attitude about yourself. I have a BBA in Marketing and MBA in Organizational Leadership. I'm thinking about earning a MS in Communication. Just thinking.
You spend too much time worrying about what other people think, either about your major, your video or your opinion.
I think she’s an air sign ♎️♊️♒️
Figuring out damage control for a job or writing for an anchor person or run successful ads are not easy. So people need to stop tripping haha
Communications stand up
I really learned from and enjoyed your video. I am currently a second-semester junior in college and I must say I was beginning to get quite nervous. But through my recent internship and more research, I feel that I will be able to find the perfect career with my mass communications degree. Thank you so much for your advice and God bless you.
YES!! this is so true. As a communications major, this happens way too often. I always say, “Without communications people, nothing would get done…” we are often the go-getters and we make sh*t happen!!
A communications degree is want of the lowest degree you can go . you cant do a damn thing with a communications degree except go to law school if you have guape🤑like that. its bullshit
English Major's talk their way into good jobs. There's no reason that Communications Majors can't do the same lol.
Hi! So I am currently applying to Northwestern right now for their communication studies major and I wanted to ask what you think was the most valuable or helpful thing that you learned from your time at Northwestern? Are there any specific professors and classes that you particularly would recommend and why?
Wonderful video tho. Was thinking the same thing When I changed my major to communications & minor in psychology..I received the same backlash. But I discarded it quickly, knowing my strengths out weight my weaknesses drastically.
Im sorry but your so gorgeous 😹😍
Is communications a an easy major. It’s important and I’m thinking about switching cuz I’m struggling in criminal justice, but I want to see if it’s worth it. I want something easier. Less writing intensive than Criminal justice cuz there are 20 page papers that I am tired of writings
yes mam :)
Amazing personality! Don’t worry about other peoples opinions. You are the CEO of your own life!
If the white woman turned into an Asian woman, is the implication that it’s better to be Asian?
I honestly felt better after hearing what you said because I’m currently majoring in communications. I chose that major because I didn’t and still don’t know what I want to do as far as with a career. It’s my last year and I’m worried that I might not find something that I would enjoy doing. There was one point in my junior year where I felt that I should have been an art major because I have a lot of skills with art but seeing your video gave me hope that when I graduate I can find the career that will make me happy 😊
<3333
Communication major is kind of useless from what I heard and seen. Hope you found a good job after graduating
Preach!
Thank you👍
Major is not matters but matter is how much your passions for your particular subject for world papulor people's like dolnad trump did mass communication. Srk Khan Bollywood king did mass communication this argument are enough to shut up people of other fields 😊😊😊😊😊😊🤔🤔
I ain’t even in school but you cute asl 😩 If you ever in Chi 👀
i’m a senior in highschool and i’m gonna commit to a school soon and i’m thinking of being a communications major but i’m nervous!! i hope i’m good at it!!
I DEFINITELY agree with you that women should leave their man if he is cheating! Why stay with someone if they don’t have the basic decency to stay loyal???
Hey i am applying for scholarship, do you think it would be a great idea if i mention these reasons in interview, please answer
You play the piano??
As a fellow comm major, I can confirm that people with STEM majors think they are hot shit because they are in STEM. What they don’t realize is that we go to the same university and had to go through the same things to get into university.
I am being my journey to get a degree in communication. I chose this major because of the frustration I experience daily in my current career as a truck driver and the lack of communication between manufacturers, customers, and warehouses. As the trucker that delivers to all of these places, we get the least amount of communication. Yet EVERYTHING moves by truck at some point before a consumer gets their hands on it. I am not sure how I will use my degree at this time yet I have a direction that I am going in and I am sure it will change many times before it is done. Congrats on pursuing your passion. Oh, and I think of communication as I think of trucking. Everyone needs communication like all products need to move by truck.
Good analogy but does not prove still that a degree in communication is worth it. Another analogy if you like those, everybody needs to drive... but is a degree in driving worth it? See the point.
@@newafricanforum I don't know if you meant it literally about getting a degree in driving. Although, if someone wants to drive an 18 wheeler or a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight of at least 18,000lbs they must go to school and learn to drive. The law requires a number of hours of training before someone can get a Class A or Class B license to operate a large vehicle like an 18 wheeler. From my own experience, the value in going to school to learn to operate an 18 wheeler was immense. Most companies hiring drivers will not even consider a person for the job if they have not gone through a school. And companies that pay upwards of $30 per hour require school training. So is a degree worth it YES. I believe a degree in communications has value also. As I continue this journey I am looking forward to all the possibilities.
Preachhhhhhhhh😩😩😩😩❤️❤️
this gives me maggie pierce vibes , love it ✨
