That is a great machine, I had a similar machine, back in the late 70-80 s , person use it is in , obviously hasn’t been shown how to use a surface planer jointer, it would be very interesting to you to watch somebody doing exactly same thing you’re doing and then they get a kickback the piece of wood disappears and their hand goes down into the cutter block, sleeve very dangerous that could catch and pull your hand down as well, insufficient guard on the machine, push pads and stick should be used to push timber over cutter block when not having guard over it, I have seen quite a few accidents where this has happened people losing their sides of their hands, I wish this thing could be stopped from putting up on UA-cam, as it is extremely dangerous, there is no excuse nowadays for people not knowing how to use one of these machines could you should be trained and taught how to operate it?, If you have not been trained or shown how to do it, you should not be using it., good luck,

Hey mate, have you had much to do with fixing them, I have one and when it’s in the free move it’s extremely hard to move and sometimes it frees up

Need use fcs clamping stand up at lest 6inches so can 3+2 machining better reach can get to all 4 sides and big parts clearence and reach set part in center of table so reach 4 sides in 1 set up looks like a beginner set up her lucky didnt over hang and wreck machine
