Cool footage! Reminds me of the love I had for that mountain. I broke my back there in 2001 jumping cliffs. Was a powder day and one of my scoped out landings that looked like fresh powder had a rock just under the snow surface that I landed on my tailbone. Spinal compression and compound fracture of the tailbone. It was off in the Palisades. Was a brutal day. I had to get myself down off the mountain as I was by myself when it happened, and was bleeding badly outta my busted ass lol. I had no idea I broke my back at the time. Was gonna die up there if I didn't get down myself. Somehow I made it down to where other runs funneled in and collapsed waiting for ski patrol. I had spinal fusion surgery and healed after 6 months. I snowboarded again, but stopped cliff jumping. But yeah, that was my favorite mountain.

Tahoe has some very beautiful and scenic bike trails ....The only drawback with this trail here is its only 3 miles long....There are a few longer just as scenic rides to be had also...Tahoe City to Sugar Pine Point state park comes to mind on west shore....Also , alot of the paved trails will give you access to more challenging dirt trails which Tahoe as an abundance of ....

i thought this looked like the most fun event in the skiing world to me until i watched the first half of your first lap, and I said "fuck this shit. this isn't snaking between moguls. it's snaking between other skiers/boarders!" 😄

I used to enjoy the lift going down at the end of the day!Snow is to hard,usally lots of Rocks,elevation is low as well.

I looked over the wall once,forgot how I got down this was about 1985!

where did you park? where did you skin up? I parked in the normal spot to access echo peak and hiked that then traversed ridge to angora peak. it was pretty hairy and took about 4 1/2 hours.
