She’s perfect congratulations! I would cry all the time with my daughter that she was getting older everyday but I wish I knew that one day when she was a toddler she would look at me with such love and grab my hand and bring me to her toys and she literally looks at me like I’m her world and best friend and it’s the absolute best feeling. I hope that brings you some comfort with her growing.

I’m so sorry you and especially your little baby were treated so poorly by the nurse. I had one rule going into my labor with my daughter during January 2021 that my baby would not be taken away without one parent present, I asked for everything to be done in the room because the hospital would not let anyone including Dad in the hallways as soon as you were in a room you could not leave. One nurse was drilling me on why and I had already explained my thoughts and she was so mean and it got to the point where i said I no longer need to explain this to anyone my daughter will stay where I can see her. She did not like that but all the other nurses understood and had no problem and were so kind. At one point the mean nurse did take my daughter out of my room for a test without my permission while I layed there not being able to get up. It was traumatic. My baby was back in 20minutes but it felt like an eternity and I was asking another nurse to bring her back when the other lady just rolls back with the baby.

Girl I’m so sorry you had to go through the trouble with the one nurse🤦🏼‍♀️ if it was me I feel like I would’ve been like “I want her out of here and don’t want her touching my baby again” So glad you had other nurses that followed your wishes!

Loved every bit of this video! I’m due in April and I am also going the route of having an unmedicated birth! Your technique of switching positions after having a few contractions at a time is definitely something I’m going to keep in mind!

As a 4th time mom you don’t need to pack the tucks pads and dermaplast the hospital provides both and Walmart has the frida mom sore nipple kit that works soooo great.

You pack whatever you want! You can take 2 or 20 outfits for baby girl, all that matters is that you are happy and content!

You don’t need the tucks or dermaplast in your bag. They give them to you at the hospital.

This is SUCH a good first time mama hospital bag!! My best advice is to just always put aquaphor on every diaper change you can, and what everyone else is saying the adult diapers are great because you don’t need to add anything except for maybe tucks or an ice pack :)

+1 to silhouette underwear. I bought the black ones and tried one on (I'm 25 weeks). They're basically just underwear with a built in pad. You don't need underwear on top. But make sure to wash all clothes before you pack them. New clothes are NOT clean and can have a lot of dust mites etc if they're not washed.

The silhouette undies are perfect all by themselves. Super simple and no need to have several different layers. If you want you could lay some tucks pads in them but skip the extra pad inside because they have one built in and skip the undies over top... no need. :) That's why I loved the "adult diaper" so much... it's a one and done product. So simple and effective.

for the tummy time mats keep one in your car or in the diaper bag for on the go. For my niece we did that and it was so much more convenient than just having a blanket on the ground
