The height of the handles during the drive make arms being angled downwards. Wouldn’t the physics benefit from pulling towards the sternum in stead of the belly? They don't 'start' the catch with anything, the catch is the last part of the recovery, they get the blades in at the longest point of their stroke and do it together so what difference does it make?
