PS I've been meaning to ask. If people read a manga in WSJ what makes them buy it again as a volume? Is it mostly to save space? I feel like if I bought us comics each week or month (however often they come out lol) I probably wouldn't buy the volume of what I already have when it comes out later compiling a few months or a saga.

Nice holiday haul! I didn’t get any new anime during the holiday sales but I picked up some manga. I got the newly released volumes for blue lock and A Moon on a Rainy Night. But I also went in blind on some new series like The Strange House, The Hachioji Specialty: Tengu’s Love, and The Girl I like Forgot her Glasses

My Christmas was fun spent some time with my family and currently on vacation from work. I got some great stuff too some tv show Boxsets Nash bridges,Star Trek next generations & house of the dragon on Blu-ray some cartoons mainly Dexter laboratory and ed Edd eddy on DVD and some anime Boxsets couple of cuckoos on Blu-ray a romantic school comedy also videogames for ps5 metaphor refantazio,tekken 8,street fighter 6. Sorry for the long comments too

I also noticed that crunchyroll had a lot of funimation titles mark down most likely there trying to get rid of there stock so they can rerelease them under the Crunchyroll logo name only which they already did for a good amount of anime. I also noticed a lot of there nizomi entertainment is no longer available on there and went oop pretty quickly.

Psycho pass is fantastic if you don’t have psycho pass definitely wanted to give you a heads up that crunchyroll will have a Walmart exclusive seasons 1 and 2 Blu-ray combo pack of psycho pass coming out in February 4th next year for $40 which is a really great deal to get both seasons plus more kogami for you loll

I actually haven't gotten any manga or anime this year, besides Dragon ball super volume 22 I think that's the volume. This holiday was basically videogames only. Games have become way more expensive and I can't afford it, so black Friday had great deals. Plus I'm waiting to get a better paying job to get a bigger place to store some of the manga I want to collect. So cool that you got the digimon movies. I prefer digimon over pokemon anyday. I still need season 1 and 2, 1 went down in price but season 2 is still around 80 dollars and I'm not cool with that. Great pickups Alyssa, also hair game is strong in this video my friend, very cute. Can't wait until your next video.

I do digital and collect physical of what I'm passionate about. Though I wish I could collect everything I've read digital. Have to be mindful of the wallet and shelf space unfortunately😭

Nice haul and even better shirt! Buttercup is my favorite :D I got some blu-ray during the black friday deals as well. Namely Symphogear, 86, and Gushing Over Magical Girls. For manga, I got the Ancient Magus' Bride supplement books 1&2, so I'm interested to see what they add to the story. I also picked all the current english volumes of Hirayasumi and You & I Are Polar Opposites. Both are great feel-good SOL / romcom series. The art style in Polar Opposites reminds me a lot of Girl Meets Rock, if you've read that series at all.

Good news: Apparently GoodSmile got so much backlash about their new eco-friendly Nendoroid packaging that they reverted back to the older window packaging. Wow, lots of people must have voiced their opinion on this! There will only be like 12 in the new window-less packaging. It makes me wonder, though, if these 12 might be worth something due to their rarity (kind of like the three legged buffalo coin!!)

SO TRUE regarding "romance" & "slice of life" being assumed shoujo lol. Thankfully those lines are blurring. "Silent Voice," "Anohana," "Lie in April," "Ohikoshi," (for example,) have a more shoujo feel but labelled shonen. "Orange" started out shoujo, but reran as a seinen. And can't forget "Promised Neverland" being a shonen with a female lead! The age/gender labels feel so outdated, with such strong ADULT inclusivity so often found in shonen/shoujo titles, crossing gender lines as well! 😎
