Also here from Mark Wien's video (and my daughter and I were so blown away, we're tacking on a couple of nights in AKL after we've been to WLG (we're from Dunedin), purely so we can eat at Ahi over my bday week! It was the most inspiring food I've ever seen! We're not rich or anything, and this is a big deal for us, but your restaurant looks super-special!❤😋
This BETTER NOT be South Island centric..
How do you not have more views and comments???❤❤❤❤
Here from seeing Mark Wiens💯🫡

Not so long ago, when every shopping centre had its own butcher shop, you could buy hogget and mutton (which makes the BEST curries) but since the spread of supermarkets and pre-packed meat this is no more. Damn shame. Great series to remind us that meat and dairy production are sustainable depending on your business model.
Saw the "Ahi" episode on Mark Wiens YT Channel. Subscribed as a result. Great to be here, following and enjoying the content.
Please post more videos. I saw you today on Marks show and had to look for your channel. Fascinating story and you tell it so well.
10:28 Ben's daughter is so cute!
Wonderful content this video, so productive and a wonderful story about the humble vegie Balle's white Onion, from Franklin region North Island. Cheese from Hamilton - Ben talking about all these wonderful foods made in wonderful NZ does make one think of all these foods and getting hungry. Cheers Kiwi.

UNLESS YOU LIVED IN BFE, YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE ASKING THAT QUESTION!!!😂 CANT FIX STUPID!!!😂😂😂
Glad fore mothers was also included. Okay so the forefathers (men) did the hard mahi like chopping down trees breaking in the land etc. But the women did hard mahi too. No electricity, cleaning, cooking and making clothing, keeping everyone fed and children raised and educated.
