Nice video! I have both LV and Chanel bags and I use them all. Not tired of LV and for sure I will never sell any of my LV bags. Paid for them, so using them as well. And not everybody has a Neverfull 😁. Maybe we do who watches and makes these videos but in real life, no no no. Take care 🌼

I have some Motorcycle City Bags, that are dupes to the Balenciaga one - I‘m fine with them, but I never had a strong itch to get the initial original one of that style to begin with. I would say: go for the dupe, see if you actually use it. If so and you don’t get tired of the style, sell the dupe and finally get the Bottega one 😁. Or maybe try renting the bag 😁

Buy it 😊. Dupes aren’t for us bag lovers, you need the real thing. After wanting it for two years you are so worth it. 🤗

I don't buy dupes. It wasn't a decision I thought about until now, but I've just never wanted them. If I'm buying a contemporary bag, I need to like it for what it is. I've been seeing so many Chanel reissue dupes for the last few years. I can't afford the actual reissue from Chanel right now, but I would never be drawn to the dupe.

You've wanted it for so long, I say try it! 😊The knot feature is a bit trendy, but it's not in-your-face obviously trendy. For example, those little Jacquemus bags. I've had mine for a couple years now without regret. I don't think the Jodie would have looked odd 10 years ago, and I don't think it will look odd 5-10 years from now. Honestly, I'd compare it to the Lady Dior. It has come in and out of popular fashion, and you don't see many people wearing them, but they can still be forever pieces if it's your style.

I have the bigger sister of the ATP bag (Asissi) and I love it! :D But if you are afraid of scratches, I would stay CLEAR of the vacchetta leather. I first bought the black version in vacchetta, and after one day of careful use it already looked beaten up - I don't mind a patina but that level was too much even for me. Due to a fault in production (seams coming apart) I was able to send it back and get the saffiano version which is perfect. I really like the size and the fact that the cross body is rather short. It's perfect to wear over a oversized blazer to give it some shape but I do think that it might be a bit tight with a lot of layers for winter. For reference I'm 164 cm, a M/38 on top and a C cup.

I am thinking about Sezane milo in brown vs burgundy. All 5 bags are great options😊

I think it is a matter of how you take care of your bag… any price of the bag will not guarantee you from tear and wear. I hear DeMellier have life time warranty for their bags. I don’t know what it means and what it includes. I just bought a Vancouver bag and plan to treat it with care. I love it so far but will see how it lasts. I also ordered hardware protectors for it. I am also based in Finland and all customs were taken care by demellier, so it was not a problem to order direct.

Great topic! I can totally relate. I Definitely go back and forth about if I like a bag or not, but if I have any doubt at all on any day, I don’t consider buying it. If it’s ever a maybe then it’s a no for me. That way I don’t have regrets.
