Nah, it’s a great movie and the language is fine. I understand the impulse to be offended for people, but nothing crosses the line in Idiocracy. And if it does for someone you’re watching with they don’t have to laugh just like you said.

This is one of the greatest films of all time. This is what we call a perfect movie.

I mean they cant just show how he died without Charles. Not everyone knows that the actor is, well, you know. So thats why they did the stop motion scene, so that they can show what happened with Charles in the scene, and not have to have the actual actor in the movie. Edit: also they cant just leave out an important character like that. I know you might say, "But what about adam and Barbara? There not in the movie", thats because the sequel is focasing on a different story, and in the movie, either lydia or Delila says that they past on, so there not stuck in the house anymore

How did i miss all of this. I must have tuned all these issues out and just blindly watched the movie. I actually feel like i didn't really see this film after listening to you guys. I need to go back and rewatch the movie.

Might be some confirmation bias at work here. I feel like people just hate those movies full stop, and the hate against Rose wasn't because she's Asian, it was because it was a shit character the writers made. Same as the purple haired school teacher Admiral, forgot her name, actress Laura Dern I believe. She is white ofc, and her character was absolute trash.

Rose could have been played by a white woman and the character still would have been hated. Daisy Ridley is white and Rey "Skywalker" is universally hated.

In most media, people use the "New Orleans drawl" but call it a "Cajun" accent, because a REAL Cajun accent (Tatums) is too hard to understand. Look up videos of real people from these areas using these accents and compare them to tell them apart. You'll be shocked at how accurate Tatum actually was. I found out about this myself when I saw the Cajun Shrimp Guy in South Park.
