They're usually off to bed by 8, but today at 10:30 he showed up and was barely able to keep his eyes open. I was so surprised to see him balancing himself by throwing his head back.

For those that have never seen Barred Owls smooching and snuggling before - here's the pair that lives behind us when they stopped by last evening before hunting.

They love these as snacks and now I roll them so they can have a little chase and some fun too :)
