How to teach your horse to do flying changes
Great video. She is a great rider and the horse is so comfortable. I can see her tail is loose and relaxed. I am no where near this rider's skill level. I just trail ride but I would really like my horse to enjoy my riding like the horse in this video enjoys her riding. My question is, does she ride with her hips slightly in front of her shoulders? I did notice that as she posts she is moving back to front of the saddle. I want to try what she Is doing here on my horses. I assume that I should I be able to do this in a stock seat saddle? Thank you for sharing.
Great video! Literally like going along with friends to their lesson!
Great videos and a really nice insight into your yard etc as I'm on maternity leave spending a lot of time on the sofa with my baby! Your dog is lovely! We've had 2 yorkies before. Are they Yorkshire terrier x?
@@dianawilliams8801 She’s a Chihuahua 🥰
Oh India you have no idea how much I relate coming back to riding as an adult after stopping in my teens and over horsing myself with my first adult horse. Very similiar being very upfront and honest about ability etc and he has just been alot of horse and taken alot of help with professional trainer/coach to work through. To say it was an emotional roller coster was an understatement 😂
So well explained. Thank you for sharing.
Well done! 🎉🎉🎉
Super helpful! Will love to see his progression :)
For me, this is the best vlog you have done.. really shows your depth of understanding of horses and how you train them. I love the way you describe the horse as emotional and how you deal with the emotions...lovely soft training of a beautiful horse!
Great vlog , loved watching the whole test and you looked like you really enjoyed the ride she gave you, I agree so good to video your rides as it always looks different to the feeling 🧡🇦🇺
Thank you for watching! 🥰🙏🏼
Such a beautiful rider, keep on! Love seeing these vlog 😊
You two are beautifull together. Congratulations placed second.🎉 Greetings from Finland.
@@tainajaurimo5717 Thank you so much 🥰🙏🏼
ONLEY - BD ASS/CHAMPS. Haven't been to Onley for a while so it was lovely to see some of the improvements outside. Have they improved the drive access off the road as I found it tricky in a big horsebox? Well done Team Indy, Henry and Raisin pleased you had a good day and lovely weather.
Your horse is just gorgeous
@@Lilligirl319 She is a beauty isn’t she 🥰
Fab video and a beautifully ridden test well done x

Great video. Always relatable 👍🏽 well done at the show, you were both fab! X
Thank you Jodie! 😍🙏🏼
It had a couple of moments but overall, it was truly beautiful. More time, more experience and continued bonding and you two will be a force to be reckoned with! Excellent job!
Thank you so much! 🤩🙏🏼
I have a hot, sensitive Andalusian mare as well! You managed her beautifully! Lovely test!!
@@emilykutz925 They’re so special aren’t they! Thank you 🥲❤️
Great Demo 💜 do you travel to do demos and clinics. I organise clinics at a couple of venues in Lancashire. Really enjoy your vlogs
Yes we definitely do travel to do demos and clinics! 😊
Fab vlog. Well done 🐎💚🐎
Thank you very much! 🤩🙏🏼
I totally agree.... She looks amazing!!! ❤❤ Maybe a little too keen, but wow!!!
Yay thank you so much! 🤩 I’m sure with more experience and maturity in the ring she will handle the atmosphere better and be a little less spicy! 🥲
@@boswelldressage I sure she will!!! ❤️❤️
Really enjoyed the vlog. Well done, Indie, you rode beautifully 🎉 Raisin looked awesome. She has a stunning outline and holds herself so well, creating a beautiful picture❤. You and Henry are doing such a great job with her. 2nd place 🥳🥳 Your little dog is the cutest🤗. Love & best wishes to you all❤
Thank you so much! 🥰 That really means a lot!🙏🏼
Well done Indy & Raisin 🤍
Thank you girly 🥲❤️
Well done with all you do , It's a learning experience filming someone and trying to get every thing organized . It may be good to watch some one how has more experience. Elphick event ponies do UA-cam's, and also Harlow and family youtube . You may be able to learn from some of there previous film's .Take care and all the best . 😊😊👍👍👍👍❤❤
Thank you 😊🙏🏼
Well done! India, in your next show vlog would love to see a hair tutorial - I also have long thick hair and yours always looks really tidy and you do it really nicely!
Thank you! 😊 Yes of course I’ll try and do that! It was my first time doing it with long hair extensions in, and I honestly thought I wasn’t going to be able to fit it all in at one point 😂 But I’ll definitely try!
💖
Thank you for sharing, it’s looking more established, well done Indi and Raisin 🎉

You are finally starting to relax and get over your camera shyness, please tell us your results ,as your fans we would love to follow your placing journey.
I absolutely loved this Appreciate everything you share ❤
Thankyou 🙏🏼
Congratulations and listening without watching made me laugh especially when Henry said don’t bite me’ so if you don’t watch might not know he was talking to a horse 😅
Thanks for sharing, it is not easy to do that but he looked so much happier at the end. Really good riding and example of less is more 😊
Henry, your training methods are so positive. That positive energy must give the horses you ride such confidence and trust in you. Is this horse called Belinsky ? Apologies if I got that wrong. He is stunning - his trot just floats around the arena. He also has such a beautiful outline and amazing halt🎉 Sadly my poor health prevents me from riding. But I wouldn't hesitate to send a horse to be trained by you. Fantastic vlog. Best wishes to you & India❤
This is Belinski, he’s such a special boy isn’t he! 🤩 thankyou 🙏
Wow 🤩
Exciting at the beginning watching everyone loading up, imagine the worst thing is making sure you have everything. Great vlog x I smiled a lot 😊
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 😊
Maybe my favourite video!! Lovely to watch and listen to you explain. 🤩
Yay, thank you!🙏🏼
How do we find out about your demos? Would love to attend. Are you based in Oxfordshire?
Yes we are based in Oxfordshire. This was a private demo for a dressage society. We will do more, keep an eye out on our social pages for more info 😊
What a horse & rider! Lovely to watch and love how you train your horses. Another great video!
Thankyou 🙏
Another fabulous video. I’m probably going to watch this a few times to take it all in. Particularly love your advice for horses that are behind the leg. Your getting the forward without the rider exhaustion.
Glad it was helpful! 😊
Thanks so much for posting this. It is really helpful to see real training rather than the finished product all the time.
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Very much respect for your horse psychology.
Thankyou 😊
Really interesting, love hearing what you do and why and how you build their confidence through easy movements. I worried sometimes that buying a 5yr old in my 50s wasn’t sensible but like you said, I feel I wouldn’t have had the skills or sensitivity to have helped her grow if I’d got her when I was younger. I have lots to takeaway from this so thank you for sharing. Best vlog so far.
Thankyou, glad you enjoyed it 😊
@@lynwillis-fleming8256 I’m with you. I’m in my 50s and have a 6yo that I bred. I definitely have more patience and understanding than I did in my younger days. Also more appreciation for the “journey” that producing a well educated and happy horse takes us on.
The most compassionate professional trainer !! Wouldn’t send my horses to anyone else ❤️
@@ElayneClancy thanks Mum!! 🤣🥰
Thank you
Thank you! I have a mare training medium and starting some advanced work, very good exercise the half pass to travers on a circle 😊 will try that one. She can get a little behind the leg, and slow ETA, just heard the lady ask about jumping your horses. Do you do polework with them? And do you ride them out ?
We don’t do any pole work but we do hack them out regularly. Would love to introduce some pole work but it’s just finding the time! 😊
@@boswelldressage oh yes absolutely 💯. Thanks for answering 🥰🇦🇺
