I support you and value your idea.keep the innovation and let it have dual controls, consider of providing a control column(yoke) according to clients requirements.Kenyan tail drager pilot.
Is that a PA18? Thing is massive! Looks good 👍
One time at band camp
Iam 82 and just love this . I flew a lot of planes in Idaho and Alaska . why wernt these planes were made a way back .. O i want one.
I have spoiled my husband buying his chitina supplies from this company 🎉
Are they serviceable, or are they a one and done?
I just wish all tail wheels had a lock like the late model 185s. Never had a shimmy with those.
I’ve been running ABW’s Tailwheel Shimmy Dampener for 2 years on our ACA Scout. When we put it on we also went to the ABW Baby Bushwheel which has a nasty reputation of shimmy on Scouts; just to give the dampener a solid test. I can report after maybe a hundred landings on concrete, asphalt, grass, gravel and dirt; high speed 3-points & wheel landings……not a single shimmy experience. A miracle innovation at least in our application. The best $1k I’ve spent on the airplane over the 9 years of ownership. And for the size / shape / weight of a sardine can.

Dumb question but if your flying solo do you pilot from front seat, compared to rear?
stupid masks
Did it sell
Any update on NPRM or AD?
What is stated here is not the truth. The issue was with PA's an a big NAV light on the top of the rudder in which the rudder was not design to have that mass in it. The standard Cub rudder without a NAV light is fine.
The cameraman had one job, and failed it miserably
It’s not a slim super Cub…it’s a fat boy
Fieseler Fi 156 Storch.Nice.
"500 foot strip...a fairly long strip". Wow, these guys are amazing.
You mentioned that you should have aborted the takeoff but then what would your options have been at that point? I can't imagine that there is anything a guy could do to improve the runway conditions. Was it just going to continue to get wetter there or does that terrain dry out that time of year? I see that it snowed in the intervening 3 weeks. Do you ever have to leave a plane until it snows and then put skis on it to get out of situations like this?
Clown show
Low timer
Doesn’t Maule make a 4 place Super Cub? 😎
Thanks for reading the comments and testing apples to apples.
Can't wait for the PA-12 on -18 gear STC! I need to replace my bungees and don't want to have to go with a competitor's shocks.
'promo sm' 👊
Look like Acme Aero clones…need more information.
Would have liked to see how they compared to the Acme Aero Black Ops. It seems like these would be a better apples-to-apples product comparison with a similarly constructed suspension product.
I was gonna say the same thing
Having flown Bungess for over 40 years on dozens of Cubs, have flown AOSS for 5 years. There is ALOT more difference than this test indicates! This video is obviously rigged as a sales promotional video. Can't speak to how these compare to AOSS but just looking at how splayed out the Aoss appear to me, they appear totally worn out? or they have ALOT more weight on top of t hem??? Something is very " rigged" in this video as we dropped tested ours after switching to AOSS; and our own testing showed Aoss to be about 50% better than good bungee. I would expect these are better, BUT very doubtful as much better as this video depicted........ be cautious of these claims or you could be paying alot for lazer engraving and anodizing..... 😮
given that youve flown the other two, maybe you should get the TiSHX and see how it compares.
@@purplepenguin43 I am all set with AOSS, however I am sure these a great shocks, since I am done guiding and don't really need anything more than Aoss, I am all set on suspension. You should grab a set and let us know how you like them.???
Amazing product!
Cub isnt a chopper
You got a great story to tell though!
ALL hunters suck...plain and simple..no exceptions..FU
Thank you for sharing.
That cost you some money !!!! Nice work getting it out from there.
Sure glad I don't treat my Super Cub like that. (but they wreck a lot of them every year up there.)
So, Ti shocks, (nice), 3" extended Ti landing gear(VERY nice), Ti cabana vee(necessary), safety cables(necessary) = $15,350. You first! 😎
Let us know if you would like further information on any products. Thanks for reaching out.
Cheep 🐣🐤🐥at 1/4th the price!
@@airframesalaska8030 I LOVE your stuff, but sometimes I can't afford it because my ride will never make any revenue. The gear and suspension equal about 1/3 of the value of my old PA-12, and probably won't fit anyway unless there's a PA-12 cabane vee. Meanwhile, I can still get into ALMOST as many places as a very nice PA-18 will even with the hilarious bounces provided by my stupid old bungees.
Roads?? Where we're going, we don't need roads
Loni is the man
Awesome video!
As if we don’t know who Loni is!
How many off airport T&Ls has she had ?
Can you put these on floats?
Can you put these on floats?
I guess the moose are laughing.
That is one EXPENSIVE moose hunt!
What is the cost to buy a plane like this? I know you can find 2 seat carbon cubs for $35,000 but can’t find Information on a 4 seater
I think you're missing a 0 in that number
Man what I’d give for a 35k carbon cub 🤦
@@shaneboulds5240 look them up. A used (non certified) cub can be easily less than $35K
@@kurtkeltner3868 you can. Look them up. A non certified (experimental) cub can easily be bought for $35K
I've done some flying in the Alaskan bush, my eye is not untrained and it strains to see this "runway" he speaks of.
I WANT ONE , PLEASE ! HOW MUCH ?
Hi, im building a sailcar to ride on the beach and want to know how good this tires might be . I been riding kite buggy for a long time and always wanted to buy bigfoot which is similar to this wheels. How big is the hub? Are they suitable for landsail?
