Hello Dan, Great song & good instructions. I'm a dinosaur just trying to make things a little easier. You're already tuned down a note so it might be easier for your fans to play the song in it's original key, Eb (E-flat). This way they can play along with Michael's original recording & hear the nuances done by Michael. That always helped me a lot in learning new songs. Keep posting & thamk you...!!!

Harv Murph Hey man sorry it's taken so long. Haven't been back on this video in a while. It's 0-9-0 on the D A D strings, the 9th fret on the A is an F# which is the major third of D. basically a D major chord without a 5th.
Good job dude. I actually just started to learn this song today, all the tabs were wrong online haha. There was one in standard :/ then I found one in drop D....finally hope, But to bad the guy butchered the whole thing haha. Had to ear it out and funny enough ended up playing exactly as you ! except for the chorus I played the D starting on the 5th fret A string with open D. I dunno lol. Super stoked to see we have a similar ear mate. To be honest I quickly checked out a live version with joe playing his mexican tele standard and i think we may have watched the same video haha :P anyway good job
