Sorry about that, It's always a balancing game Thank you for letting me try it out, this game looks quite fun!

For as much as I thought I was running around and exploring the place, apparently there is a whole room I never found that has the number written on the wall pretty plain.

Believe me, Survivorslikes are one of my goto genres for playing and this one just didn't do a good job. Heck if they made the movement/shooting fluid instead of just 8 locked directions it would be a massive improvement.

another youtuber tried with keyboard and had a similarly rough experience. I really wanted to like this game if they tighten the controls and give more free movement/aim or auto shooting at enemies, it would be fun, but it was very rough.

@@sshulin in the next fest demo, I used him, and good to hear about the music, I've had issues with bigger studios titles and unless I see something specific and remember it, I often just turn it off

They did a lot of work on the other island about a month or two ago, they moved it a lot closer, and added some more infrastructure on there. the expensive taxi trip was almost at the end of the road on the new island, alll the way to near the airport. If i hadn't blown the comfort, I would have made almost 20k that one taxi trip, instead, I just got 13k

As a proof of concept, I like it... it will give inspiration to the next generation of this type of game. I liked my story that I did in this video, but just kinda felt that the narrator was just a bit too easy, anything I wanted to do worked out. To put it in movie terms. I'd want the story teller to treat me more like Luke Skywalker than Rey.

Once a game gets too easy and I have everything I could need I start to lose interest, so starting from nothing makes it interesting again. As far as the timelapse/song edit, I got the idea from people like daggerwin and his farming videos. I section out the piece of film that needs compressed, look in my no copyright music library for a song I like that's short, then using my editing software, change the length of the original clip to the length of the song, mute that clip, then put a fade in and out for the music and lower its audio by 20-30db depending on how I feel so it doesn't take over the video. I believe I sent you a FR on discord and would love to talk shop with you, if you are interested, if not, sorry for bugging you

​@@norsehawku can do the auction save the game go back to main menu and reload remove the cars from auction property to the street for example then go inside repay the guy and go to auction infinite times by saving and reloading

@@stevelaudroI heard there was a way to abuse the auction system with save/reload, but not something that I would do personally, it just makes the game too easy at that point.

I did run FTAC for a while, Not the original creator, but did keep the community running for a while and growing until the original creator came back. and yes, Furry Island Resort's design was thought up by myself, and implemented by Nova Winterton and Legenragon for the construction, and I helped with the texturing. the campfire seating area/mirror at FTAC was my design and Nova constructed it. previously it was just a pair of tents with a fire between them. I stepped down from any leadership stuff over a year ago since life stuff, but I still do avatars for people, even though I pretty much never have the time to just play VRChat.

I've only played 3 days in game since the update and had people getting stuck outside the shop beyond that, except for the truck emptying thing that happened I mentioned here, i've had a decently clear experience. I'm kind of at an impasse as to what to do next with this, I'm almost thinking of starting over from 0 and seeing what I can do (also would let me get the last achievement, the go bankrupt one)

@@norsehawk yessir same thing happen to me also people getting stuck outside the shop an it take a couple seconds for it to fix. Only other things after buying 12 storage units my game freezing and I lost everything I just bought. But I had fun beside that.

I didn't even think about that until after I got them priced, was more happy about finding where on the car I could actually see the price, and turns out it's around the back right tire.

I've tried that a few times and I just get impatient... still made about 50k on the cars I got at least so wasn't too shabby.

@@stevelaudro I tried to go right back in and hit the art auction, I doubt if I cleared the cars and tried to go back in on the same day that I could pick up art as well. I still had 20k left and was like, well at least I can get another blessing or two :P

@@stevelaudrosadly no, he wouldn't let me back in on the same visit, next auction day I will test by taking everything I buy off property and then try going back, but I'm not hopeful that it will work.

I definitely got my money worth out of the current content, I'm not getting the big store until there's some improvement to that experience, the casino and cars update looks interesting. I will probably do a handful of more episodes and then put on hiatus until some more content is added.

I've only played the first House Flipper, but I remember you were mostly renovating an existing property instead of building something from the ground up. I will say the House Builder game flew under my radar until recently and the amount of builds is quite impressive, I've done quite a few episodes of the game and still have a ton of things to do. They also tie in with other simulators the company has done, I recently did a castle flipper house, There is a cardboard house for the homeless game, and an undersea house for a ocean game. I hope you get a chance to check out some of my other videos on this game, and maybe some of the other stuff I cover!

Yes, I remember them as well, but those were programmed for only a limited number of options or actions with everything pre-scripted. Dreamio uses your input and writes the story based on your actions. Instead of going down some combat path, I went down a blacksmithing path. 10,000 people could start with the same prompt and all get a unique story.
