I felt this.

I think I've seen Alex Zonjic more than 60 times. He was always playing somewhere in the Detroit area, many of the clubs that don't exist anymore: P'Jazz on the roof of the Pontchatain bldg, Murdoch's in Rochester, Alexander's at Woodward and Canfield, and even once in Ann Arbor at the Blind Pig. He is a great live show. When the house is packed there is a lot of excitement and Alex plays very aggressively. I love musicians that just get out there and hump it. Zonjic plays with a lot of abandon and with no caution! His playing is so exciting and he feeds off the energy of the crowd. I have to say I'm a big fan. I have all his records on vinyl before I re-purchased them as CDs. I know there are players that Zonjic looks up to, but for me he is the greatest jazz flutist of all time. That's why I've seen him so many times. Every show is worth going to because you know you're going to get that energy and excitement.

U know what? No disrespect but all of these comments and he still this and that and I used to c him at this and this place . where y'all been for the last ten years ? This dude is responsible for some of the biggest jazz festivals u could ever attend in the last ten years and he's had the top contemporary jazz artists the tippy top!! Yall act like he's a dinosaur .he makes it affordable and no drama here's something check out ur jazz concert calendars in ur Area i.ll bet u the same artists that ur paying too dollar for we have seen them either for Free or a affordable price now he had to cancel a few things within the last year because of covid-19 but check out his website he's has and been going strong much love y'all
