I remember when you couldn't properly watch TV without a 'TV Guide'. I actually miss the days of appointment television. It gave everyone something in common to talk about the next day. 😊

I remember that game show Treasure Hunt. I wanted to be on it. But I was just a kid. And Maude; that show was too controversial for me and my sister. We weren't allowed to even come in the bedroom when my mom watched it.

We ised to subscribe to TV Guide. I liked reading the article's and lnowing what was coming on. I miss the small TV Guides.

This was kool and my the mom was always my favorite especially how she always put her kids n check.

I only enjoy season one wasn't crazy about the season 2.

Interesting. PBS Channel 24 from San Bernardino seemed to only be in black and white. According to Wikipedia, the university student-run station went all-color in 1974.

Just enjoy the music and the photographs! Judy Garland didn't want to send anyone to hell! No human being has that power because no human being is the creator of the universe or the center of the Universe! Caring, Civilized, Common Decency, Commonsense, Conscientious, Decent, Educated, Empathetic, Friendly, Forgiving, Gracious, Honest, Honorable, Intelligent, Intellectual, Kind, Loving, Mature, Moral, Peaceful, Reasonable, Respectable, Respectful, Sensible, Upstanding People are much Happier and Successful than Barbaric, Bitter, Crude, Cruel, Envious, Hateful, Revengeful, Rude, Ruthless, Sanctimonious, Violent people!

I love the photographs! I love the rare recording! The 1939 MGM Beautiful, Beloved, Brilliant, Classic, Clever, Delightful, Excellent, Exceptional, Fantastic, Grand, Iconic, Marvelous, Outstanding, Perfectly Cast, Uplifting and Wonderful Fantasy Musical Movie, The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie of all time since I first saw it a t age two on videotape in 1981! I have many favorite movies! The 1939 MGM Classic Fantasy Musical Movie is in a class by itself!

Starsky and Hutch and Welcome Back Kotter were the only two that lasted. Well, at least for 4 years. I did like When Things Were Rotten. It was a Mel Brooks show. And SNL was and is still here but it sucks now

Yes, it was exciting to see the Fall Preview issue show up on the magazine rack. Even though colder weather was on it's way, you knew there would at least be a lot of new shows to check out, and fresh episodes of returning favourites.

Remember the old days when TV Guide was 15 cents and you would look through it to see what movies would be on network TV? "Wow. Lawrence Of Arabia is coming to CBS. They must have made a mistake. It only came out six years ago!"

I caught this show when it was just reruns on Disney back in the late 90s. It was one of those forgotten shows that just kinda got swept under the rug over the years and I always felt like I was the only one who remembered it. I still watch episodes on youtube from time to time. It was definitely a comfort show. I think the actual house is located in Pasadena somewhere and it's the same house used on The Wonder Years where Karen Arnold and her boyfriend lived.

Growing up , my Sisters and I wouldn’t dare take that TV guide out of my Moms room. The good old days, so happy I’m able to watch a lot of those shows today.

Whenever he hosted a local fundraiser..he would ALWAYS do a meet and greet with all kitchen staff, waiters etc setting up the event BEFORE meet/greet/photos etc with general public. He's and old school gentleman. Absolute darling. His late wife as well. 😇
