We are John and Donna Scarborough. We met while both serving in the US Army in Oklahoma and have been married for 36 years.
In 2020 we sold most everything and bought an RV. We spent some time hosting for the Georgia State Park system while John finished his career as a firefighter paramedic.
Donna had already retired from Quality Assurance in the aerospace machining industry.
Since that time, we have been traveling around the country meeting new people and seeing new places.
We have found there is so much to see and sometimes it is in our own backyard.
Our motto is “To travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination”. We are Coddiwomple Travelers.
We have owned just about every RV type that has been made apart from a class B and a truck slide in camper. We are well versed in campgrounds and feel that working with a company such as SEPI could help others and provide resources for local campgrounds and resorts.

We spent the day at MORryde having our annual inspection completed and carry you along for the ride. We have our bearings repacked and system inspection, get a new spring and new brakes.

While exploring in southern Kansas we found a guide stone that dates back to the 1880's. James Teter placed a pile of rocks at this location to assist travelers with finding the river. I would have never thought the service would be over $800 for a basic checkup.
It wasn't. That included installing one of our springs as well. I think the basic is around $600.
Class A so no MORryde!! But great in formation to share!! Happy Trails!

Holy moley Bateman, that was educational! I had no idea what having IS really entailed. We had Summo Springs so there was nothing to maintenance, lol. I have a greater appreciation for it now though! Great job! 😊

Great video John!!! One other thing to note is that I just got independent suspension on our Montana and Moryde was able to get me the Sailun tires and mount and balance them right there at Moryde. All I could find in the Goshen area was Heartland tires and I really wanted to stay with Sailun. They can get them from Keystone right from the plant. They put the independent suspension, new tires, and Moryde pin box all on in one day! Amazing Hope that you and Donna are doing great and that God showers his blessings on you . Safe travels

Can't believe it was the sprinkler that was shooting water up on the RV. We had a chance to see the Blue Angels fly directly over our house back in Indy before we hit the road. Always enjoy your positive attitude when things are challenging. Hope all goes well in our "home" state of Indiana . The old bait and switch with some of these state parks. Colorado did that to us with the daily entry fee. Wander On-Kyle and Michelle

lol that is some flat land. That might be my tissue. Sometimes they come out of my pocket. So I try to clean up trash I see. That is a pitiful face with the harness.

Always keep a roll of W_I_D_E gorilla tape in the "repair" bin. I like the zip-tie idea for securing the Coroplast.
It seems to be holding so far. And, you cannot do repairs without some gorilla tape 🤣

We have found the joys and savings of state and county RV parks. We had a couple lovely ones this year in the Kansas City and Omaha area. However, we have never had the issue of having to pay extra for our tow vehicle. I can understand the extra charge for your follow vehicle, but the tow vehicle is part of the RV!!

That sucks about the additional fees at the campground. It definitely was pricey but a pretty stop.

That’s crazy that campground has a sprinkler head right there! Glad it wasn’t a leak!! Cold showers at 2:00 in the morning wasn’t what you wanted I’m sure!! Ugh! Not frame flex 😫😫😫 very nice campsite for a great price! City parks are often great little places! Ohhhh now the water situation was no bueno nor were the extra charges in the state park! 😮

That's a bummer about getting repairs 😢 but let me add something to look forward to, in nappanee IN on Wednesday only there's a donut truck in a parking lot in town, Amish,.. the absolute best donuts 🍩 you have ever had, served hot made on the spot 😋 if you're in the area 🎉

No jeep ! I regret having one , huge expense, breaks down all the time , and never went off road . Just trying to to warn ya ! J. Just E. Empty E. Every P. Pocket .
We have had one before and, it served us well. Although if you are not frugal just empty every pocket can be true. We have been off road already several Times and have plans for more exploring. Thanks !

Frame flex is misleading. This is frame failure. Nothing to do with ( flex)
@@daveclark6947 Actually I agree with you and think that there is frame flex and frame failure. Although I do think that this issue is frame flex. I have seen several cases of failure and it is devastating. Thanks for watching!!
