How Ai Can Transform Your Models
I recently took two photos I had taken a while back of two different scenes I made in 1/6 scale with scratch built model sets.
They were processed in a programme that transforms still images into moving videos. And these are the results.
All the audio and sound fx were added by myself when editing.
Enjoy.

You are shit. You took one pic of someone else's work to start and end video with and gunked some bunched up coco fibers in random flock. Looks nothing like pictures you stole. Go away

I follow you, you are doing a good job.
..... Where's 'Part 2'??
That music, I recognize it from some foreign language police drama. Sweden? Belgium? Bulgaria?
noice
Profound!
Great!! What do you use between the bricks? Looking forward to part 2!
What do you use to hold your fuel barrels?
2:56 can I mix the glue with paint and the dirt?
I'm don't get it, what is the idea for use?
Amazing!!!Thx so much!!!
Thanks! Great tutorial!
Looking forward to the next video.
Nature has everything you need for your dioramas. You just need to go out and pick it up.
Cool
I unfortunately don't own nor have access to any coffee grinder..So what could I use as an easy and free substitute?
Mortar and pestle? A plastic bag and rolling pin? Anything to break it down
Did you use any pigment fixer. Thanks.
Thanks a lot for the video 🔝🙏🏼
Brilliant, Thanks for Sharing.
No wonder they look like real bricks, they ARE real bricks (albeit small ones) :)
They're amazing! I can't wait for part 2. Thanks for sharing
How effective! Thank you so much for sharing!❤🥰
I liked your video but what is vinegar/steel wall mix?
Use fine steel wall and soak it in a jar of white vinegar, the longer you leave it the darker the mix. I left mine for around a week. You can then soak balsa wood for a day or two and it comes out a nice worn wood colour.
That’s the shit right there. Thank you!!!!
Old video, but do you remember did you varnish at the end? Does this work with the pigments?
I can't remember to be honest but I don't usually varnish the finished item, you could use pigments and then Matt varnish to seal them if you wanted
These tips are great! Thanks, man!
How to make realistic dirt: Step 1 - get some real dirt 😆 Very helpful tutorial though. Will definitely be using this for a few of my models 👍
Great tutorial! Thank you so much for the help.
There was a road construction site near my place. I went out and got a couple of paint cans full from the fill pile, and ran it through a sieve set bought on Amazon. I've got 4 different sizes from dust up to full gravel "rocks". Ask the guys nicely and your needs will be taken care of for years in one go.
Excellent! Love the music, too! 😃
I plan on doing an abandoned car diorama so this will help with the barn wall. Thanks.
Going to keep an eye on this channel .. love this
Good to have you back :)
I use craft paints. Distress the balsa wood. Paint it with DecoArt Americana barn wood then apply very diluted washes, progressively darker (medium grey, dark grey, black), until I achieve the old look I want. No reason to have your hobby area smelling like rust and vinegar.
“No reason to have your hobby area smelling like rust and vinegar” except rust doesn’t smell, and his results speak for themselves.
Wonderful! I never considered using flower foam! Great idea! Slight correction about randomly damaging bricks - Brick structures don't degrade randomly. They typically form diagonal cracks along the grout, from which bricks will fall away, and most of the damage happens at the bottom load bearing bricks, that's if hyper realism is the goal.
Thankyou for the comment, I tried taking a more artistic approach to this simply to add some more visual interest 😉
Have you tried using cardboard for the pallets instead of balsa wood
Never thought of using cardboard, but great idea and may give it a try in the future 👍
Superb
My god... wtf just happened. I'm so god' damned entertained right now.... over how to create fake mud. This is like Lord of the Rings of mud making videos.
Love this comment
Very nice, must try this
does this work for wet mud? e.g ww1 battlefields, when this dries (assuming I don't add the extra stuff and only use the paste) will it look like dirt or like mud? thank you.
for the dirt to PVA glue ratio i suggest 152:228 rather than 40:60
I think this guy is mentally sick
@@notniko6914 its a joke
When I do like this, lots of cracks appears when dries.. can someone tell me how to avoid cracks..?
Hey there, I have found to reduce cracking use less water and don't let it dry to quickly, you could also try covering it with a damp cloth if you are in a hot climate. Alternatively fill any cracks once dried with another mix of the mud. Hope this helps
Million thanks for the instructions.. Yes was because of the excessive heat.. its summer 40 degrees here.. so I have cleaned the surface, reapplied the mixture, and kept inside the bathroom.. now its there.. drying slowly.. am working on Tamiya tent scene..
Good day , i use the same way for a long time in my dioaramas but in A4 dimensions , but when it dries i have a lot of crαks (sometimes i want it ) can you imagine where is the problem ? thanks a lot ! keep modelling !!!!

@@dioramasscalemodeling thanks a lot ! greatings from Greece Lesvos island!
Would love to see how you make the mix to be able to use this method. Thanks.
hi, if you mean the Steel wool method, take a glass jar and fill it with vinegar. Then add steel wool and leave it for around a week or until the wool has dissolved. You know have a mixture to soak your balsa wood. I usually leave for a day or two depending on how discoloured you want the wood to look. Hope this helps 😌
Is there a part 2? :) Love this vid thanks
Thanks 😊 I'm looking to remake this video in the future in one part
That music - from "Suburra"?
Very nice ! Just a question . 60% glue or 60% dirt?
thankyou, I usually do 60% dirt
That looks just like what I just made in the toilet lol 😆
