Our first Mahimahi! // Kingfish by Catch // Tutukaka
Our first game fishing trip for the season started off with a bang out of Tutukaka! Unfortunately fairly quiet on the game fishing front except for landing the first Mahimahi for the boat. Managed a respectable Kingfish on the way in which finished the trip on a high.
Was good to finally have lures in the water again!

An amazing weather window arrived in Waihau so we packed the Senator 620 and boosted down from Auckland to have a crack at a Southern Bluefin Tuna. We have finally done it! Our first Striped Marlin! We left Tutukaka Harbour as dawn broke. Steamed out past the Poor Knights and were immediately greeted by an abundance of life.
