The Coquitlam Amateur Radio Club, more formally regarded as the Coquitlam Amateur Radio Emergency Services Society (C.A.R.E.S.S) is a non-profit organization that was created to promote the exciting hobby of Amateur / Ham radio and emergency communications. For over three decades, our society has been an integral part of local and British Columbia emergency preparedness plans by providing communications expertise and experienced radio operators free of charge in the event of a severe disaster in the local and extended communities.
To accommodate prospective hams, we have two Industry Canada accredited volunteer examiners within our membership for those who are seeking their amateur radio license.
The Coquitlam Amateur Radio Club, VE7SCC is a fully equipped and active facility boasting state-of-the-art radio transceivers, numerous antennas along with the ability to test, repair and build equipment as required.

Amazing content. Thank you for sharing.
This is Chris - VE6TNO, I was your first QSO today. Thanks for the signal report as I had mentioned, our EFHW was knocked down and I just put it back up. I hope you all had a fun day! 73
Cool. I remember hearing this check in. No problem with copy all the way up in Northern Alberta. I used to check in with 5W on the Hermes Lite 2. You quickly learn which of the relays can hear you. Any way. Nice to put a face to the call signs. 73 VE6RLZ
Tried to watch you live on the television yesterday. Could not find the live stream
If you subscribe to the club's UA-cam channel, you will get notified with a link when we start up every Wednesday. Another option is just to bookmark the channel and come back to it. Live video streams will always be near the top.
