It is about my hometown Southport which even in the late eighties had seen better days. Now it is even more in decline although still clinging on in challenging circumstances. Remarkably, tourism still brings in over £650 million a year. It is desolate in autumn and winter but still has a faded dignity about it in places.

I remember going to this concert with my ex, her best friend, her best friends mom, and her mom. I miss her so much and I miss this time period so much even though it was only about 6 months ago. I recorded cruel summer but not this. Thank you so much for uploading this. Truly.

What a stellar performance. Listening to all of the little things that were within the different parts. It was amazing to realize that all of those little nuances had always been there. And that they had all been touched upon at one point or another, throughout the years. And that this was like the first that we got to hear all of the little parts and nuances at the same time. Since there were so many musicians, to be able to play them all at the same given moment... Jaw meet floor, smile cover face.
