Heres a little 5 minute edit I made of our trip down into the Cañon del Río Maichín. The Río Maichín's waters start at the Nevados de Sollipulli Volcano and flow into Curarrehue where it joins with the Río Puesco to form the Trancura. From the slalom course down to the pozo. A short and quick lap with higher than normal water. Most of the gates were pulled to the side to accommodate the extra water. Didn't want a repeat of what happened in Los Queñes and lose the entire course haha

Rapido La Leona. This is the longest rapid in the lower section. Flow was about 9500 cfs.

High Water Trancura Bajo on October 11th. It was running about 14k cfs at the Quelhue gauge. I hadn't run big water in a while so I took some pollito lines to get reacquainted. Didn't have a perfect run, but it was still fun!
